Great pics!!
The 2WD 550 DP is a civilian jeep if I am not mistaken!!!

Any plans to convert it to a 4WD, add LSD's and modifying the axles to full floating like the army jeep?
When I was on my hunt of a jeep, a couple of months back, I came across a similar jeep.
Do keep updating us with the progress. Best of luck

Thanks Harjeev, yes this one's a civilian jeep.

Will not convert this one to a 4wd as I do not use it for offroading. The work has been completed and I have posted more photos today, the post is awaiting approval.

nice jeep really happy to see anther jeep/mm lover.

you dont have to go off road to be a jeep lover or buy it from dabwali
or have ww2 one ,
you just have to have any vehicle ,keep it ,maintain it ,drive it ,use it ,
it may be bought for 5k as scrap or passed by father to son or bought brand new for 20 lack (import) ,
it can be jeep ,mahindra ,tata , land rover ,old/new ambi , vw, benz .bmw basically any thing with wheels tyres and should go from point a to b and have pure love for it.

you can see my love here it is just like yours but longer by 25 cm.
(p.s. please read the comment made for my love by some one it is really inspiring for me.)

by the way which tyres you are using?
i use MRF steel muscle 185/85 r16 on stock rims they give great km/l & handels well.
