I would like to share my experience with Blue Star Relocation in transporting 2 of my bikes in the last 1 year.

I am not sure how I came across this logistics company - but I am pretty much sure it was through Google Search.

I started looking for a reliable and safe bike transport company last year when I had to transport my KTM Duke 390 to Hyderabad. Not because I had shifted, but because the Duke was sold to a friend there. Since this was my first time, I had to Google Search and read reviews of available logistics companies. And that's when I came across Blue Star Relocation. Or rather I now remember, it was suggested by my friend when he was looking to transport it to Hyderabad.

The process for transfer was very simple. All he had to do was call them up, provide the motorcycle details, the pickup and destination address and he would get the quote. The order would be confirmed over WhatsApp and the invoice would be generated. The guys would come on the agreed date and take the bike in a tempo (in this case a Suzuki Carry). Estimated time for delivery is 4-5 days give or take a day or 2.

What i really liked about them is the care with which they handle the motorcycles. Here are some pics of the Duke when it was transported in July 2022.

The box containing the parts were also wrapped very carefully.

The bike and the parts arrived safely with no broken parts whatsoever.

The second time i used their services was when I had picked a bike in Bangalore and had to transport it to Mumbai. Same process, but this time it was a bit different.

The bike had to be fuelled up with 2-3 litres of fuel so it could be ridden till the outskirts of Bangalore where it would then be out on a trailer / container. It was then unloaded at Khargar and then transported to my place in a Suzuki Carry - conincodentally the same one that had transported the KTM a year ago.

Overall it has been a very pleasant experience with them and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to transport their motorcycle or car within the country

In terms of cost, It costed us Rs 5500/- each for the Mumbai-Hyderabad and Bangalore-Mumbai transport.

Re: All India Bike Transportation - Blue Star Relocation

Thanks for the reference. But I’m just curious. This is a very different way to transport a bike from what I’ve usually seen. Usually when I’ve seen seasoned road transporters transport bikes, (I’ve used both a 2 bike tempo for Bbay Pune as well as 6-7 bike truck to Chennai and HP), they ratchet it down securely at 4 places - 2 in front and 2 at the back. The very experienced ones take care to ensure that the ratcheting does not damage the forks.

This one just seems to be standing in the pics with no ratcheting whatsoever. What prevents it from being thrown around?

In fact, in our last trip to Spiti, the truck had had a bad head on accident severely damaging its front right section (although it could still complete its journey). Despite that, fortunately nothing happened to any of the 6 bikes inside the truck as they were securely ratcheted down.
