Try adding https instead of http and it might work directly

Got up at 1:40am thinking that it was 3am and to add to it was not able to go back to sleep aswell. Called brandon and he says we will meet at mantri elite at 3:15am. Planned for a small NICE road drive and left house at 2am.

As soon i reached Adigas, Bannerghatta road i see a guy selling tea so stopped the car there. To my luck he was not just selling tea but also preparing Egg Omelettes. Ordered 3 bread omelette, tea and the time now was around 2:45am. Dropped plans of driving to NICE road instead walked for around 15mins and reached mantri elite. brandon arrives at 3:15am sharp and we head towards hebbal flyover.

Near vidhana soudha i see a esteem revving high with rally.co.in sticker behind, thought it was Psychos but no idea. Myself and brandon reach meeting point and i see kaushik scorpio, asdon punto and few others.
Our organiser happly come at 4am and says i was busy guiding people to meeting point. The wait begins for others to join us till 4:45am. Later we decided to leave.

With around 11cars we started off. Even at 5am there was traffic till yelanka and then the road was inviting. I was driving slow as to be with the group. Near devenahalli toll gate i see a innova(later came to know its a peted one) which was happily keeping up with me though i was not spiritedly driving.

Few of us decided to stop near nandi downhill so that others can join us.
Later our little ACE comes and ask me to blast the car on a small stretch, though was surprised at first did it for him to make hime happy.

We then assembled at the entry point and waited till 6am. ghat section drive was fun.

We thought only we were MAD to leave house at 3am and reach nandi hills by 6am but...

Awesome, we are waiting for more. I guess you might have the videos of coming down too right? That moment all of us were together. What about going up the hill? Were you able to catch the guys who were ahead? I decided to move late from the base as I was waiting to get a sunrise pic(I got ditched by the Sun though). But thanks to that the uphill drive was fun and took me just 7 mins as the road was empty.

And that setup is nice. BTW, how do I upload videos in youtube? And what I need to convert them to? What editing software are you using? I've taken one or two videos of the night drive. Taken a video of coming down too but it got corrupted :(

hang in there just a lil' while longer. there are three videos:
- On the highway
- Up the hill
- Down the hill

the second video is encoding right now. i'm doing the sequencing and titling on the third one after which i'll encode it.

i could see KiloAlpha ahead of me when i passed the gate, then he disappeared. i had to be a bit slow to avoid jerks to the Handycam setup! too much shake can damage its hard drive!

if you've a Gmail account, you can use that to login to YouTube and upload videos. i'm using Premiere Pro, but you can use Windows Movie Maker (WMM 2011) on Windows 7 (most versatile), but if on XP or Vista, WMM may not be able to read from AVCHD (HD) file format. heck, it doesn't read from MP4 either!

PS: you might want to encode your files into FLV/F4V format; these are lighter and apt for the web.

@Video encoding, I think its better to go with Third Party apps, rather than anything default.

Anyway, @ Ironhawk, great pics man and yes, the 'Birdie' num num was welcome (in my case it was simple maggie) and @brraj, superb stuff. Nice to see that someone got pics of the crowd for the tickets

yeah, you're not there in the videos! where were you when we were coming down? we should have planned the downhill drive better. as you'll see in the third video, i'm mostly playing catch up!

EDIT: the third video is rendering, followed by encoding. it should be up in an hour's time. meanwhile, i'll go find some num num!

IronH4wk, thanks for the videos. I slowed down at the base to let you people go so that I can capture you guys on my phone's video. Little did I know that it had already gave up on me :(. But it was a nice drive for sure. Slow and steady was the mantra for me in this drive.
