Manipal in T-BHP! The Bangalore Chapter!

Over quite some threads, I have come to realize how MANY T-BHPians were/are from Manipal; be it MIT, KMC, MCODS, MCOPS, WGSHA, TAPMI etc. or even living in Manipal/Udupi.

Be it road trips acorss Sringeri, Kudremukh, Agumbe or the most recent 3-day wedding road trip!

So, how about all of us, who've been to one of the best campuses in India meet up.

I thought I'd create this page for those in Bangalore.

Tagging those who have confirmed are from Manipal. Feel free to invite those who aren't!

Good to see a thread on Manipal and MIT, iam from bangalore and have graduated from MIT Engineering in the year 2001 ( 97 Batch)

PS : Samurai, which of the MU institutions did you study at?

You can add docanurag to the list - he and his wife are both from and at KMC. He has been there since 1997 and she since birth.

This is exciting! My life has been very closely attached with Manipal for many good reasons and one bad reason!

Did most of my Education there.

I am looking forward for the meet.

None, actually.

But I have lot of relatives who did since my wife's family is from Manipal. Recently I was talking my wife's great-uncle who studied Medicine in Madras despite growing up in Manipal. When I asked why, he said Madras was cheaper than studying in Manipal.

BTW, Ramdas Pai was one year Junior to him in high school, and he did go to KMC.

Hehe! Manipal sure has the distinction of being "expensive"! Good to know Ramdas Pai did go to KMC!

So, any chance you'd be in B'lore the next weekend for a T-BHP-Manipal meet?

Hmm, I see a problem here. According to Team-BHP policy, you can't plan a TBHP meet that includes a set of members while excluding the rest.

For that reason alone, we don't allow model specific meets, and I just realised this thread too violates that policy. All TBHP meets have to be inclusive.

Sorry, I will have to close this thread.
