Hey Guys, awesome photos. It was such a great meet and the drive was just awesome. While going there was lots of traffic and I initially thought of following brraj and Niranjan and then decided not to even try that. They were flying probably. Then decided just to follow Libran (dude, you should've been paying the bill. We all waited for you :P ) as didn't wanted to drive alone and it was fun to be driving in a convoy (we maintained safe distance).
Once we reached Barista we overtook the place and it was fun talking about everything from F1 to WRC to photography etc. Then we had the customary photoshoot (those Barista guys must've been thinking what kind of idiots we were ). Return journey was nice as there were very few traffic and decided to reach home bit fast as wanted to catch some sleep. Enjoyed the drive very much and somehow feeling sad that I'll have to sell the Baleno. Scorpio won't/can be this much fun to drive. Anyway, hope to go another drive soon. Let's plan guys..
PS: Sorry, no photographs from my side this time. Didn't get the camera as I wanted to concentrate only on driving this time.

Lot has been covered by almost everyone, So that makes my part easy apart from uploading pics from my side.

Drive towards Barista was almost similar to Gumball rally, everyone charged up and that made me forget that I was low on fuel and had to make a pit stop, Then stupidity kicked and said on the way back, lets fill up....

Meet was really good, We did lot of star gazing with the help of Dell Streak and the star chart app, Spoke about F1, WRC, Air Filters and down force.

Time to leave and all set their eyes on the CBR as it was the star attraction of the meet.

Way back home, Fuel light comes ON and the needle is dangerously below E mark, Again... instead of looking for fuel station to top up... i feel like Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear and have a challenge on my hands... can I drive back home without stopping to re-fuel and i roll down the window, reduce speed to 60 and switch off head lights and turn on the Fog lights...up ahead I spot, Libranof1987 doing the same, only thing wsa he was enjoying the slow drive, i started to follow him by synchronizing to his pace and we kept to the left of the road all the time. I parted ways with libranof1987 near the NICE road and decided to opt out as if i were to run out of fuel on the NICE road then i would not be able to make it home hence said bye to libranof1987 and took the route home via Deva Gowda petrol bunk and joy-o-joy I did make it home in the mighty Verna....she brought me home on a wild-nail-biting journey.

Indian version of Top Gear Challenge with a Verna and not a Jaaaaggggg

I like my new jacket nice timing there Sajan.

Did the F1 meet happen? just after the race got over, I drove infront of SPAR for some work. Kept my eyes open for any TBHP cars, didn't spot any. "The cars must be inside" I thought and went ahead.

Amazing meet and thanks to the guys with cams for wonderful pics. It was great fun meeting all of you and talking about everything under the sun.

I reached Coorg bang at 7 in the morning. Was an amazing night/morning ride. No pics from my side since I did not have the cam but the others have more than made up for it. Looking forward for more such meets!!

You bet! As I remember, it was me, then Bhushan, Hemanth, Brandon, Kaushik and others.

The convoy bit was cool! We should definitely have a longer drive soon!

Yup, even I realized the same that day. I initially was driving bit fast and alone on NICE road but decided to stick to the convoy as it was fun to be part of the group. I thought of doing the same while returning but had to rush home as I had to wake up early (Oh boy and I really did wake up at 8am next day).
Anyway, let's plan another long trip guys. Heard that Chikmagalur is at it's full glory now. But there might be lots of rain in next few weeks.
