The cars coming from bangy as of now are amitoj's e-zen , goddy's CRV , psycho's esteem , steeroid's dicor , anush wants to run in his bullet at 50km/hr all the way to goa so xtreme nos and a few of his friends might join up with him on bikes too .. I shall be there in my baleno along with the chennai boys .. We plan to leave as early as possible on the 26th morning so asto reach goa by say evening or late night atleast .. See you all there ...

Btw , could one of the mods pls send across a chain PM yet again to all the members with the details of the acco and the finalized dates put up .. Would help a lot ..

Also will try to get a few transfer sheets printed out for all attending the meet .. That should be finalized by tomorrow .. Will let u all know soon ...

PS : Darn , missed the 2nd internals because of Speedrun and will miss my 3rd for the meet .. But who cares , cars and meeting up with like minded people is what matters most .. And for a few us its a well deserved break from our GF's/wives .. Just wish someone doesnt read this ..

Ok, so now that we have kinda had some decent confirmations, why dont we start planning what we are actually going to do once we get there? We must have enough events/activities, why waste time planning them after we land up there?

I have seen mention of karting/autocross/off roading. Is any of this properly confirmed, or we only have to decide after getting there?

Damn I wish the dates were different am dying to meet up with the rest of the gang dont know when we will get another such occassion.

Viper

Off Topic - AM going to Banglore on 29th for work for a day and would like to meet up with any of the guys who will be there at the time.

Dear Friends

It would be quite a shame if a community of about 5,000 can only spare about 25 people for its first meet - we had a larger attendance for the Bangalore Go-Kart meet in January.

Where are all those guys who claim that petrol runs in their veins and not blood? Where are all those people who cant sleep without logging in to register their opinions on the forum? Where are all those people who keep recommending cars to strangers? Where are all those experts who are ready with tips, solutions and workarounds everytime we have a problem? More importantly, where are all those people that have BENEFITTED from all those tips, solutions and workarounds?

Finally, where are all those ICE guys who would be indispensible in hot hot Goa?

This is a community of give and take. Many of us have given to this community, many more have hopefully been able to take something back and quite a few of us have done both. However, all this has been between members with the community as a facilitator. It is now time for you to set aside a couple of days (weekend, too!) for this community and it is quite a shock to find that many of our vocal members are simply not interested.

After 2 months of planning and talking, all we have to show is 25 members....is this all our commitment to TBHP is worth? We're not asking people here to WORK. All we're asking is for you to join in the fun, put faces to names and develop a bond that goes beyond a few regional meets. Is that too much to ask?

Put your heart where your mouth is, put rubber on the road where your keys were on the keyboard. Come to Goa!

Can somebody please direct to the post which has the schedules. If I am not missing more than 2 working days, may be i can join.

My car is still in T/R and may take more than a month to get registered. But it has comprehensive insurance. Will there be any issue driving this car out of state?

Anybody joining for the meet from Hyderabad?

Dont know if anybody is joining from hyderabad...But the schedule is 26th May 2006 to 30th May 2006 that means starting on a friday and ending in tuesday. Try and make it man. You can join up members that are closest to you and come together with them. Or land up directly in goa. We shall make arrangements if you are keen to come.

Its really disspointing that there is such a poor turnout form Mumbai, it is supposed to have a very high member base.

And what about Delhi???

Update = Bombay members might remember Gopi Marine (the guy with a cam that helped me shoot some amazing spy pics on daman drive) hehe.

He might be in for Goa too - 50-50 chance. This is a warning - if he is in you fellas better be at you best behaviour , else I behind his cam will be watching you

Bugger don't rub it in! Giving exams for uninteresting subjects is bad enough. And I do not wish to resort to sinister plans to make it to the meet.

As long as you guys keep fixing end May dates for national meets, you will never have support of the aspiring engineers. Mumbai guys didn't learn the last time they did their Goa thing, they don't seem to get it this time either.
