Oh yes cooldude, thank you... I just realised that after reading amitoj's post.

Now the thing is, though saturdays are officially holidays for us, considering the nature of my job, we are usually required to come to office on MOST saturdays to finish pending work. So, basically, iIF I am required to come to office on the 15th, I will be available only sometime in the evening, probably late evening.
So if it isnt a problem for everyone, could we meet at around 7 or later? We could go have dinner somewhere. This is only in the event of me having to go to office that day. If not, anytime is fine for me!

Everyone, please take down my number so we can coordinate better: 9849923126 (Amitoj, not necessary to tell you this, but just incase, if you will be using your phone on roaming, you need to add a 0 (zero) before the number).

A suggestion: Why don't we all just post our REAL NAMES and contact numbers here, so as to make matters easier for everyone.

Thanks Alok for making the guys aware that I am not in town and to postpone this meet. BUT, the day you guys are planning to meet up, I am again not in town as it is my first wedding anniversary, so taking a little break on the weekend to celebrate it. My Anniversary is on the 17th so I will be off from the 14th evening and be back by 18th evening.

Would it be highly shameful of me to ask for a change in date??? I would really like to meet you all guys...

Well, Burjis. we cannot postpone this meet as amitoj will be going back to bangy on sunday.
But we can always have another one when you back from your anni celebration, that is, if your not too tired then

come on guys lets make it happen!! I am so excited to meet u all, u have no idea!

cooldude, i will be heading back to bangalore Sunday early morning as i would like to avoid driving in the dark as much as possible! The drive from Bangalore to Hyd will give me an idea how much time i will need for the return journey but i think its safe to say that a sunday meet will not be possible for me (unless u all want to make it an early morning meet and a drive!!)

I have just spoken to Burjis and he is in for saturday. Now everyone, I have already posted my name & number, so feel free to call or message me anytime of the day or night! Only a few people have affirmed their status on the meet, and just a few others have posted their contact numbers. So, what about the others?
Hey Amitoj, heelntoe, zulfikar, Kartik: Can you please let us know about your hyd plans ASAP, along with your contact numbers.
And satish, what about your contact number? I think you had given it to me before, but I changed my phone so I lost the numbers that were stored on it.

And also, can we make this a dinner plan? There is nothing better than to sit, eat and talk! And a drive after that. And do any of you guys drink? Cause if you do, we can have a 'pub-ish' meet.

P.S. Can you guys tell me where you stay, because I MIGHT have to hitch a ride; thought of giving my car for servicing on sat.

I think Saturday evening is going to be fine for everybody. Howabout making this meet different. Gather at 7 - 7:30 PM. Have dinner and sit late in to night. Probably we can go for a drive at 11:00 PM or so. Hyderabad doesn't sleep early. As Amitoj is visiting with his family, shall we make this a family meet?

This is just my idea and guys you can put in your opinions.

I will be reaching Hyderabad sometime on Thursday. Saturday evening meet is just fine for me.
Oh Satish, i dont think my wife will be coming to the meet as she will be busy catching up with her friend from her school days. But late night sitting sounds perfect to me. How is it driving down the Hussein Sagar bridge at night? Anyways, am fine with anything you all decide.
I will call you as soon as i hit Hyderabad.

Drive around Hussein sagar will be good, but there will be traffic around till late in the night with rash bikes and cars. Being a Saturday, there will be a good crowd. To enjoy the scenic beauty as well as enjoy the drive, you should go there early in the morning.
