We are flying down on the 28th and will miss the Friday practice. btw the number has gone up to 36 people.

Initially I was also planning to drive down with a couple of friends, but after more friends started confirming their availability it made more sense to do a group booking and get HUGE discounts on flights and hotel booking

. What stand would you be in, I will be in Star Stand 1 East. I have also booked 18 rooms at a hotel in Noida.

Alongside F1 there will be two supporting races named JK Racing Asia Series and Delhi Championship with MRF.

F1 India GP Day 1: The first day will see practice sessions of Formula 1, JK Racing Series and MRF Delhi Championship which will be followed by the Press Conference at the stadium itself.

F1 India GP Day 2: This day will further boost the excitement level in the stadium when fans will see the qualifying rounds for the F1 racing in India. This is also going to the day for the fans to get the autographs of their favorite racers on the track which is scheduled for 4.30pm

F1 India GP Day 3: The main event "Formula 1 Race – Indian grand Prix"starts from 3.00 pm local time. Before the final event fans will get to see and be entertained by various events namely - JK Racing Asia Series 2nd Race, F1 Paddock Club Pit Lane Walk, F1 drivers' track parade etc.

Day 1 : Friday, October 28 schedule

JK Racing Asia Series (practice): 08:45-09:15;

F1 first practice: 10:00-11:30;

Delhi Championship with MRF (practice): 12:00-12:30;

F1Paddock Club (pit lane walk) 12:35-13:45;

F1 second practice: 14:00-15:30;

F1 press conference: 16:00-17:00;

Delhi Championship with MRF (qualifying): 16:00-16:30

Day 2 : Saturday, October 29 schedule

JK Racing Asia Series (Qualifying): 09:45-10:15;

F1 Paddock Club (pit lane walk): 10:20-10:45;

F1 third practice: 11:00-12:00;

Delhi Championship with MRF 1st Race (10 Laps or 25 Mins): 12:25-12:55;

F1 Paddock Club Pit Lane Walk: 13:00-13:45;

F1 Qualifying: 14:00;

JK Racing Asia Series 1st Race (10 Laps or 25 Mins): 15:30-16:00;

F1 drivers autograph session: 16:30-18:00

Day 3 : Sunday, October 30 schedule

Nice job lynx. Collecting all relevant info into one post. Thank you. Now we can schedule our trip to the course. But I'm afraid we wont be spoilt for options as the bus service is available only in the morning and evening after all the events are over. :(

I found out we wont be missing FP1 we are leaving on 27th Morning. Driving non-stop. Will be taking NH8. Only detour might be we would be going from the chittorgarh route instead of Ajmer-Jaipur as advised before. We intend to cover the distance in 16 hours. We choose the 2011 Q7 3.0 TDi for this mission. Hopefully it should be a complete blast, just like you mentioned more excited about the drive then the race!
