How about Republic Day, 26-Jan, a Thursday, instead of the 29th?

Lovely idea Bajaj Saab. I wanted to do a bike ride with Wanderers on that day but, since most of them are going for RM, I dont think it will happen.

Besides, I dont want to dump driving altogether. I still love my Cruze more than the Bullet and that equation isnt going to change much

I guess its around 150 kms from here. Right?

How do we go about this drive?

Guys could the drive meet happen the week after the 29th as on 26th I would be working and have no leave as such as I work for a US process.

I am ok with the drive meet on the 29th but since Avi already has prior commitments.

You guys can plan for the 21st dinner meet at my place. If the number of people attending is 10-12 or even 15, my home is fine but if it is more than that then we can have it on my terrace. Either way is fine with me.

I am going to my village for Sankranti and will be back on Monday. Meanwhile you folks start planning the menu and stuff.

It can only be either your Anniversary or Wife's birthday!! Your smiley makes me infer that. And yes , you'll be royally massacred if it's one of the two and you go on a drive meet.

As for me, 26th Jan, I might have to go fetch a relative from the station. I am not aware what train and what time, so , if it's on 26th Jan, I'll decide a little closer to the date.

Edit: And Warangal sounds good to me too

Yes, it is around 150km.

Based on reviews of earlier drive meets, the plan will be to most probably start after breakfast (9am or so), eat lunch there and return to the city by 5/6pm.

Dont worry, we are doing drives from last 6 years, all will be well. It takes maximum 2 hours to reach warangal if we leave early enough
