Following TBHP'ians finally made it for this meet.

Drive meet to " The RANCH" was a day full of fun-filled activities. We all met up at the meet venue between 830am to 9am and waited until the late comer (Arcot) to come till 930am. Thanks to Hyd_Traveller and Vnabhi for coming just to say hello and drop us off. Even Srimath and Sashi came over for a few minutes as well.

As always, the moment we took off from the meet point, it was urgency all the way till we reached the venue which was roughly 45kms away from meet venue. The entire stretch is being widened so there were many diversions, traffic coming on opposite direction etc. Nonetheless, we reached the venue at 10:30am after waiting for Sudipta who started late from meet venue as he was busy enjoying a nice breakfast.

At the venue, we saw that swimming pool was sheltered so most of us immediately changed and jumped into the pool.

We enjoyed being in water for almost 2 hours wherein we engaged in following activities while in pool

a) Drag Race (Winner : Mobike008)
b) Drag Walk (No winner)
c) Holding breathe under water (Winner : Arcot Srinivas; 30 secs). Last in this competition was NoRules; 4 secs
d) Water volleyball

After getting completely exhausted but, having enjoyed every moment of being in that cool waters, we headed out of the pool around 12:30pm and spent the rest of the afternoon over an extended lunch which consisted of many snacks like mixtures, fryums, papads, dry chicken snacks followed by main course of 2 chicken curry, 2 veg curries, veg pulao, sambhar, dal etc.

Not sure if there was any desserts on offering. But, overall it was a decent meal with good taste to boot. Except that chicken curry was a bit spicy but, Andhra Chicken is supposed to make your eyes water, isnt it.

Finally, after the mandatory pictures we decided to head back home at 4:00pm and enjoyed the drive back with Lexus and Ritz as company till we reached Uppal X roads.

NOTE : Sudipta's 13-month old daugther (Suditi) was the star of this meet. I havent seen/met such a cutesy baby in a long time who showed signs of a team-bhpian right from this age with her amazing outgoing nature and willingness to mingle with all of us. Infact, i was surprised to see her smiling and laughing in the pool when most babies of her age are terrified of water. She was simply & mind-blowingly lovable !!!!

Last but, not the least. A big thanks to Fleetmaster for making an impeccable arrangement and hosting us at this place.

Small correction in your post. NoRules a.k.a Ravikath had come in Chevrolet Optra Magnum and not a Santro.

The road from the highway to The Ranch was a nice place to test the suspension, ground clearance of the cars. What a dusty road I must say.

The whole meet had three attractions.

1) Suditi - Sudipto's daughter. Very cute and always smiling.
2) Lexus LX470 - The V8 diesel monster.

Last but not the least.

3) Bhongir Standard Time! (Picture below) - But it was not working. May be there was no battery available in Bhongir.



While returning from The Ranch I (Ritz) and Mobike's WA (Cruze) challenged the Lexus and boy-o-boy what a SUV just vanished with the touch of the throttle.

Most of them were not very active as they were deprived of the natural sleep which was missed due to partying!

Last but not the least best part every meet keeps the family (Hyderabad Team-BHP'ians) growing. Was nice to meet you Sabby, Arcot and Yash!

Hi All,

I just envy all those who could make it for the meet, Was so prepared for the meet and last minute change due to some urgent work spoiled it for me. Still very happy that you all enjoyed. I don't think you would have had time to explore other games after exhaustive pool play.

Pool was the only game left for us to do play since the sun outside was not letting us do anything. Standing on the corridor we were barely able to open our eyes and see the horizon. That sunny and hot it was. The non-swimmers were not able to stand there because of the humidity. I guess there were no indoor games there else that would have done!

There a table tennis Table on to of lunch area. But even that would have been very hot.

I am doing this for my daughter as my wife is out of town and I am taking care of my little one. Next weekend she also would be traveling with her grand mother so the plan is for today.

We have many fans of OTF here. We had a wonderful meet there a few months back.

Since then, OTF had closed down for renovation and expansion. I understand that OTF will be back in business from today.

Since it is pretty hot to have a drive meet, I propose a midweek lunch meet at OTF.

Can some one please confirm about the re-opening of OTF?

Had a word with Paresh a couple of minutes back. OTF would be back in business from Thursday due to some unexpected logistical issues. Looks like I would be blessing OTF on Thursday for my round of Pasta and Cheese Cakes
