Since we haven't been to hotel 7 at suryapet on nh9,that can be considered as an option.

Meet at the airport (the regular meeting point on nh7)

Take the orr to the junction of nh9 ,keep going on nh9 till we reach hotel 7.

Have lunch and be be back..

I will need to get into someone's car as my dhannomatic will be in the service centre

While the food is decent, this place will be very crowded on a Sunday afternoon, especially in this holiday season.

I am not too crazy about this place. Been there few times and found the food to be okie dokie. Nothing exceptional and the journey will be miserable with the 4 lane work going on.

How about going to Jolly Woods/Button Ice on Vikarabad Highway?

Its not too far ( I think < 50kms) and has lots of greenry, tree shades too.

Besides above, last time food was quite sumptious and reasonably priced too.

If all are fine, we can call them ahead and get things better prepared in advance

Well a small suggestion. Why don't we all drive to Nagarjuna Sagar starting early morning and come back by evening?

I am not yet in as have some plans with family, but wanted to suggest.

I will have to drop out as have a friend coming down from mumbai and have to play the host/hyderabad tour guide to him.

From last 6 years, each summer around this time, we have been having the biggest drive meet to Nagarjunsagar. However, last year we had a bad experience at Vijay Vihar when their restuarant was closed and we had to do with make-shift arragements

Besides, we got bored of Nsagar, been there too many times.

We can look at Kuntala waterfalls in Adilabad and a restaurant near by. This way we can spend some energy in waterfalls and get recharged in some nice place (I don't know any good dhaba there so someone will have to suggest.)

Kuntla Waterfalls during Summer . There would not be much scope of spending some energy in those waterfalls as the stream itself is trickling like a Municipal Water Tap. Better, hit Anantagiri Hills, Vikarabad Lake and drive back to enjoy the lunch at one of the dhaba's.
