In fact I was saddened again when I saw Sam's obituary in TOI today.
I briefly met up Sam during Hyderabad International Auto Show 2010 at the JBL stall and he was simply at his best.Here is a pic with myself,Sam and Raj Sekhar (KKR2K2).

Damn!! I was getting Sam's pics on fb updates but missed this unfortunate event. :(

In the auto show 2010, I invited Sam for my wedding and he said, no matter what I do, he would not be able to come to my wedding, reason was he was getting married as well during that time and he would be in Germany. We are going to miss him. Kind of hate to say RIP! Have fun up there mate.

Anybody up for this?

A blind man will be your co-passenger and he/she will guide you with a braille map. The drive would be around 30-35 kms and the first 4 cars to reach the correct destination will receive prizes (din't ask what). Before the event on Sunday, there will be a briefing on Saturday at 6 pm in Dialogue in the Dark in Inorbit and you will get to meet your navigator for the rally.

Participation fee - Rs.1000 (including lunch), Rs.400 for additional person (can drive with you in backseat and have lunch). Fuel expenses will be driver/owner's responsibility.

I am thinking of participating. Let me know if anybody's interested. Call me at 9966201684. We can probably use this opportunity for a quick meet.

BHP'ians,

Get set for one of the most unique concept of a drive meet. As some of you may already know that apart from loving my cars, I am also a bike afficianado ( especially BULLETS) and own a Royal Enfield Classic-500. I am an active member of the Bulleteers of Hyderabad called "Wanderers"

This idea came into mind several times in the past when I went riding with Wanderers and proposed by Lalit Jain ( Moderator of Wanderers) but, i never took it seriously but, when he proposed it a few times more, I thought, Why not. It would be a great way to celebrate a drive and ride on 4/2 wheels respectively.

The plan is for a short drive meet on Nov 4th to Bidar which is 120kms away. It would be a lovely photo and video opportunity to have cars and bullets ride together for the first time ever on Team-BHP.

Bidar being a historical location; we can visit the Gurudwara and then proceed to Bidar Fort which is a fantastic location for photo-shoots and finally proceed for lunch and return to hyderabad late afternoon.

I am expecting atleast 20-25 Bullets to participate for this joint-ride

Lalit bhai wants to post the meet details on Wanderers page just a week before. But, be sure to expect atleast 15 bullets to join as I know there are many people who join at short notice
