You think it will cause a problem on the D-day? Considering that fact we will cross the statelines. Most of you will advise me to get rid of them but I just got them done 2 months ago

Bajaj Sahab,

If you join at the ORR junction you get to skip the toll which is located near ICRISAT. Else the toll for cars is Rs 22 one way and 33 for two way.

To my knowledge no other toll has been added till Sangareddy. After that even i have no idea!

Yes Andy, ORR also has a toll and it will be either 20 or 30 for one way though not sure. What I remember is that the ICRISAT toll was pretty steep, not 20 or 30 range but 50/70-75 type, hence wanted to know.

I will join the drive meet at Kondapur and go via Hafeezpet-BHEL-ICRISAT-Patancheru route along with all but will use the ORR on the return.

Checking for sunfilms is/was quite intense at the Patancheru Toll Gate,Zaheerabad exit.At Bidar-you dont want to take a chance with getting caught with sunfilms on an AP registered car inside KA.

OT: Does anybody know if the ORR has been officially opened between NH9(Pune side) and NH7 (Nagpur side)?The reason is because while driving back from Mumbai a couple of days back,I noticed that the signboards at Muthangi has "Nagpur" added to it.

Not yet for sure. A little work is still pending apart from one legal issue. Hope to see it opened very soon.

Land acquisition at one village is not completed and is under dispute. The Government plans to make a stop-gap 2-undivided-lanes diversion for that part.

Diwali is fast approaching and here I was thinking how great it would be if we all can meet up and celebrate Diwali. Let's decide the venue and the date. I think it's best if we can meet up on 10th or 12th of this month. I am however, open to any dates.

For dudes working in MNC's, Common, lets get out of this hectic corporate life for a while and enjoy the meet.

A lunch/dinner meet would be ideal for everyone to attend as it has some flexibility of taking some time off during lunch hours. Just my two cents.
