Re: East Coast US Meet

Looks like weather is going to be pretty cold during the TG weekend, with windchill factor predicted in single digits in most parts of North East. Hooters may be a better idea...

We need not go to this place. I once attended a meet at Hooters, Manchester, CT. Its almost 2 hours from Nashua, and roughly the same from New York, NY. I know parking at that place wont be a problem for sure.
I stayed in Manchester, CT ( 1 mile from Hooters) for 5 years and feel bad that I am not there now.

Parking wont be a problem, guaranteed.

Re: East Coast US Meet

Although the snow is drifting away slowly, and the weather is still not co-operating, spring time is coming soon & I think this is a good time to start planning a meet for us guys in the North East & whoever else feels like joining in.

If you put up your name & current location (or send me a PM), I can start preparing a list of people & suitable locations convenient for members for a preferably Saturday / Sunday meet.

NY Auto Show sounds good but its awfully crowded on the opening weekend - loooong lines. Weekday evenings are a breeze.
But yes, if the Apr 18th weekend works then we can have a meet.

We'll have to see about parking - parking near the auto show is mainly in paid garages as street parking is limited.

Or we park elsewhere and travel via subway or one-two cars to the auto show.

Just amitoj & you .

Don't know where the rest are.
If not auto show lets meet up over a weekend - somewhere in CT - middle ground.
Will ask Techno too - he may join us if he's free.

CT sounds good too. Smaller crowd means it should be easier to arrange the meet!

Re: East Coast US Meet

Hi,

Is the meet still on? I would like to join too if the meet is around 1st week of may.

I stay in Columbus, Ohio and could drive down if the place is not far.

Yup..I made it.Will post few pics without spamming.

The biggest surprise for me at least was how spacious the 2015 Sonata was as compared to its competition. My friend is in market for a Sedan and we checked out the Mazda6; Accord, Fusion and Sonata..and Sonata stands out in terms of aesthetics; the I8 is funky looking from the rear, not pleasing.

Aah!!!! Manchester CT. I don't feel bad that I am not staying there anymore. Glad I moved out of that dump of a place after being a resident for 11 years.

Am logging in here after ages and am game for a meet if there is one. Just hoping that the weather warms up sooner coz I have had enough of this cold weather for this year.

Cheers.
