Also, since you mentioned keeping up with the convoy, does the convoy cruise at 80 or so during such drives? Anything around that is fine, but I'm afraid my T-Bird wont be able to keep up if the convoy cruises at 100+, in that case I'd rather get the t-jet or swift. I am not comfortable touring on the bike at triple digits on our hazardous highways, especially with the T-bird's rear brakes being like footrests rather than brakes

No idea Raj. Haven't heard of any bikes being given on rent in Blore, let alone premium ones.

I am not sure if there is superbikes for hire in bangalore, I had heard long time back that there is a showroom near H.S.R. layout near BFC chicken, which used to lease out super bikes but not sure if that showroom is still opertaional now.

Well first we need to think if we would like to do a convoy or not, I prefer convoy, as that would add an experience to the whole journey, we did try to do a convoy and to some extend managed well. With family and so many cars I think 80-90kmph constant would be nice, and we don't/ can't stop any member going ahead and reach a prefix point and then wait for us to arrive.

Karthikk, I am yet to decide on joining this meet as i am awaiting weekend tasks from office during Feb and March.

If you want a RE company to cruise in 80's all the way, then let me see if i can take my STD350 for the ride. i will confirm it sometime soon.

One very important point:-

As you have seen the list is ever growing, and very less chance of drop outs, we need to figure out location and a place which can accomodate all, so I guess - stags/singles/with friends can share dormatory or multi beded rooms.

But those who are with family - are we ok to share rooms with lets say 2 couples in one room provided the room is big enough to accomodate 4 adults? Because I didn't find any place as of now which will have 25+ family rooms.

From my end I am ok to share with another family.

Exactly... I think this a Group Meet and bhpian will not have problem sharing the room. Finding a 30+ room will be a difficult task. Let me know if I can help you in some logistic and other arrangement.
