14.4 is very decent mileage for a huge MUV like a Xylo.

Company claims 53-55lts. But I have tried max with 40-45lts till now. I mean to say when the fuel indicator turns on.

I have got 16kmpl when doing the Kanyakumari trip.

When we had a XYLO Milage marathon I had got 24kmpl and someone from our group had got 34kmpl and it was Nice road circuit of 84kms.

Though I was in Chikmagalur during the weekend, Somehow missed this meet (didn't get a chance to open the bangalore meets thread).

Excellent trip friends, Surely you might have had gala of time.

It's gotta be Gokarna! The beaches are lovely and you find only foreigners around!

Thanks Mahesh, we will do it for sure, but to others, guys you are missing the Hint no 3. Gokarna is too know a place. And you will be surprised to see the name.

Gokarna beaches have lost their charm now. Gokarna main beach has become quite dirty and crowded. Om beach is just infested with foreigners throughout the year and completely commercialised.
I know this because I have been going there since childhood where my uncle stays.

Ok, hands-up

, I don't think the name can be kept secret till sunday morning, so here it is

Belamber Beach in Ankola, and the resort name is Honey Beach Resort, which has their private beach too. The place is very good, I have been there with few freinds in December, ideal gateway to stay away from Mon-Fri life, as well as far from commercial nonsense, which we see on other famous beaches.

You're probably right. I'd been to Gokarna in '09 and had stayed in one of the shacks on Kudle Beach. It was peaceful and very clean. Lots of foreigners everywhere.

We didn't even bother with Om.
