Added my name. Cannot confirm my attendance till the day before. Sorry and please bear with me for that inconvenience. As far as location goes my vote goes for Sukhdev dhaba or Haveli at Murthal.

PS: Too all BHPians travelling on that route - Please keep in mind that they have speed interceptors on that road. So keep your speed in check. I have seen it many a times on that route on my way to murthal and have been even stopped once. Also on your way back into Delhi cops are always ready to catch you since you would have entered city speed limits on 50kmph and would not even realise it due to lack of proper signs.

I was planning to vote for NH1 originally, but after Saturday's drive to Murthal just for a few Parathas @ Sukhdev, I'd no longer take the pains again.

It takes 2 hours to reach Murthal from Gurgaon, and have to deal with terrible traffic for around 120 kms out of the almost 200 km round trip!

@Roy I agree with you that it is quite pain to drive from Gurgaon to Murthal but the fun of meeting many T-BHPians and attending a Mega meet (trying our best to make it a mega meet) will be priceless. If you don't want to drive then you can come with anyone you know coming from Gurgaon/Delhi/Ghaziabad.

NH1 is fairly empty and the road is good all the way to murthal. NH8 on the other hand has recently turned into a nightmare specially on your way back into delhi. The stretch from Manesar to Delhi will take away all the fun from the meet.

In any case I wanted to suggest another thing. Why don't we all plan a route. People can keep joining on that route according to there convenience at the scheduled time. For instance If we decide to go to murthal then the best way to get out of Delhi is via the Ring road. I live in Punjabi bagh so I can join the whole group from there onwards. The idea being to drive together and get our Forum some publicity too .

As an alternative venue: What about some coffee shop in the city? We can probably meet at mocha art house in vasant kunj or anyother such outlet where parking would not be an issue.

By the way, personally speaking, a place within the City limits would add another 4.99% straightaway to my confirmation.

Yup once you cross the By-Pass the road is heaven to drive. But till Bypass one has to suffer from the city traffic.
