Sam would be coming to Cochin later this month and tomorrow or so. Why not go to cochin?

How about making it on 14th or 21st. Since both days are Sundays, most of the people should be able to make it..

We could try boating this time. I heard its there at Veli. The place is also pretty good. Otherwise we could just sit at some restaurant and talk along with a few drinks

Or is everyone game for a drive?? Again its bloody sunny over here, and i dunno any real good places worth a drive. Or how about Varkala, sounds nice. JK can do ALL the arrangements

Ist ponmudi a good drive...though there is nothing to see, eat or drink. We could fill up our boots with all that we want and hit the road...

Its almost a 2hr drive..fine with me anyway. Lets see what the others have to say.

We could leave in the morning, stay and enjoy till arnd 4pm and start the journey back. The 23 hairpin curves should be fun!

22 hairpins.........BTW, once my friend's cars' break-fluid leaked, exactly at the 11th curve while returning....he somehow managed to stop the car by lowering the gear & hand-brake....luckily, there were 2 cars and they went to the bottom in the other car, found a mechanic and came back with the oil.....it was already evening and it was well past at night when they returned.

Damn that must have been scary. The roads over there are not that wide and some parts don't even have those barracade(?) things. And unless u climb down all those hairpins and drive a good 10kms, u won't even see a mechanic or someone who could help..

guys decide on the dates soon.so its going to be 14th or 21st is it?since many feel its better after 15th,shall we make it on the 21st?will try to come down to tvm if possible.anybody from cochin driving down to tvm for the meet?in that case we will go together
anybody driving to goa for the national meet?am looking for some company so that we can go together.again not decided for sure whether i will be going for it or not,but if i get company i will try my max!!

Basil should be comming from Cochin i guess..

So date is 21st, fixed!! Now we need to decide on place. If we could decide it atleast a week before 21st, everyone will have time to make up their minds and adjust their schedules.

Karthik I should at TVM itself, because I work there.

I may not be able to come for the meet though, one of my friends getting married on 21st (just got that buggers mail). Its at kottayam. I will be there for the meet, if it happens sometime in the eve. that is if I make it back to TVM by that time. or else i will see you all next time.
