The IVV (Indirapuram, Vaishali and Vasundhara) mini meet

Hi all,

The IVV zone of NCR (Indirapuram, Vaishali and Vasundhara

) area is now a fully developed zone. I say an area is fully developed, if you find at least 5 cars with TBHP stickers on them, and regularly spotted.

Was just speaking to Biraj, when the idea occured to us. Why not have a IVV mini meet? (In the lines of SS Traveller VK meet) We have Swarn Jayanti Park with LOADS of parking space and street food.

I mean, it does not have to be too organised either. The first one to reach the predetermined venue and time, becomes the torchbearer!

I suggest this Sunday 4-6PM at Swarn Jayanti Park, parking : the one to the left of the entrance.

Needless to mention, ALL TBHPIANS WELCOME!

Great idea Ranajay! Apart from you, I only know Jason in IVV and he hasn't been active on this forum. It would be great if we can meet at least 4-5 fellow BHPians. The location seems good but we might want to schedule it earlier in the day. 4-6 PM on Sunday will most likely be family time or time for equally important "prior commitments".

Great idea Ranajay. I think there are quite a few bhpians in this area. Also Noida is not far away so it's convenient for Noida bhpians to join as well.

For this weekend, I am travelling and won't be in NCR on Sunday. But I will keep a watch on this thread for next time.

, and would have loved to join in - except that, this Sunday, I would be a few hundred km away from Delhi.

I am also aware of at least 2-3 Team-BHPians in that area, specifically in Ashiana Greens. One owns a Xenon (offroader1).

Good initiative. I am based in sec 62, Noida and would definitely join in. But not this weekend, though. I am also headed out on a trip out of Delhi just like a lot of others it seems.

I am based in Indirapuram. I would join if i am able to come back on time to Indirapuram as i am leaving for Chandigarh on Saturday morning and plan to start back on Sunday afternoon. I will try to start early so that i can be back by 4-5pm

It seems this Sunday, may not be suitable for all. So, may I propose 30th December, Sunday 2-3PM? Or may be in the new year, 6th of January 2013?
You may please confirm your presence here on the forum, and maybe inform your friends on TBHP. A different choice of venue within IVV is also welcome

Ditto here. I am sorry guys, for having "disowned" my thread, but I had to deal with some unforeseen personal issues. Thanks to Deeps and Biraj, this thread is back to life. I am in, for either of the days, or even weekdays, evenings (enjoying temporary bachelorhood

What is the venue? Swarn Jayanti park?? we can use one of the many unused parking lots for just the meet and photo-shoot. (It has a total of 4 parking lots, IIRC)

Photo session sounds good. I'd suggest that we give preference to sat evening. People generally won't have any plans after that so if we stretch the meet a bit late it won't matter. Sunday morning would probably see a lesser turnout IMO.

But like I said, lets go with the majority. I am fine with anything.

Seems, it's only the four of us. So, let's decide the venue and time. I am fine with Saturday evening. With the return of fog, it might be a good idea to start around 5-6 PM and meet for 2-3 hours.

As per the venue, Swarna Jayanti park is a good idea however we might want to keep an indoor location as a back-up.
