Hmm...Missed again. But, at least met Diesel Don and had a chat with him for a while. Expected few other people and at his house and wanted to meet them, but they followed because of the Hyderabadi time punctuality, I ran out of time and couldn't meet them. :P

So, how many people attended the meet?and how was it? Can we have some pictures please?

the meet we had on Saturday/Sunday, was a Team-BHP 'meat'. Right. Then the photos of the meet should ideally be first posted here. Posting them here is as easy as posting them on face book (I think so). Hence, kindly post the pictures here on this thread and also kindly 'say' something about the meet (after coming out of the Hang Over of the meet - it is already 2 days guys!).

We should remember that all the hard work and efforts of Mobike008, Traveholic and lot of others - many names whom I dont know since I am a newbie, and all the enthusiasm shown by the other members made this thread a 5 star one.(Not many meet threads are 5 star, you see).

Hence posts and photos, will keep up the 5 star rating of this thread.

Hope to see some posts and also some photos here soon!

Also hope I have not crossed the line by saying this. Please correct me if I am wrong.

BTW @Bajaj sir, I have enjoyed my second meet thoroughly. The only problem was I could not stay a little longer and get acquainted with Waseem and other new (for me) members.

I went around for another round of Famous' on Wednesday, and also got some curd home from Bilal. While having bowlful of it, I realized it did have something added, checked with my Mom & figured out it was what we call 'arrowroot' (in English, its something like 'araa-rote' in Hindi; check out http://bakingbites.com/2009/06/what-is-arrowroot/).

It used to be (may still be) pretty standard addition to milk in UP where those milk vendors come to deliver door-to-door on their bicycle to make the milk look thick. I could make that out from the taste. This guy is adding the same to milk, and using it for making curd. Nothing wrong with it per se, just tinkers with the natural taste and feel a little.

Harees (Sweet version of Haleem) is available at Barkas round the year.

Pista house does not sell Haleem round the year.
