The 2013 Hyderabad Meets Thread : When is next one???

Awesome mobike, I am in. I was feeling bad as I wanted to meet up with BLR TBHPians this weekend but arriving at BLR only after they depart.

I was planning to drive down to BLR on Friday (22nd) night, will move my plans to Sunday morning. I will start from HYD and continue to BLR after our lunch at Kurnool.

I may have my cousins from Delhi dropping by that weekend. So they may also join in for this drive meet. If that happens, will leave early from the lunch venue back home.

I will most likely be out of town on 24th as kids' exams will be over that week and we all might go to my village for the weekend. Will be able to confirm only around 22nd.

Reschedule to go to the village on sunday evening or monday else get back on 23rd evening but do join for the drive meet.

Ravi, Join up for this drive. We wont be planning any other drives till summer is over. Besides, the roads till Kurnool is heaven

Bajaj Saab, Kurnool is already 2 Degrees ahead of Hyderabad in terms of temperature. We are currently at 36C and they at 38C.

Is the meet destination decided and confirmed? I was just checking in google maps and the location seems skewed more towards Hyderabad than Bangalore attendees

. Bangalore to Kurnool is 360 km, Hyderabad to Kurnool is 200 km. For maximum turnout from both cities, we could probably check if there is a location halfway. Just my suggestion. No offense meant.

Many people may hesitate to join from Bangalore because of the massive distance (700+ km round trip in a single day) and fatigue which might boil over to the next day (being a working day).

I was just checking in google maps and the location seems skewed more towards Hyderabad than Bangalore attendees . Bangalore to Kurnool is 360 km, Hyderabad to Kurnool is 200 km. For maximum turnout from both cities, we could probably check if there is a location halfway. Just my suggestion. No offense meant. Many people may hesitate to join from Bangalore because of the massive distance (700+ km round trip in a single day) and fatigue which might boil over to the next day (being a working day).
