Can the Bangalore team start one hour early from the Hebbal junction. Instead of 7.15 we start at 6.15am. SO that the drive will be at ease and leisure instead of a rush affair to reach the destination??

That's a very good idea. but, 6:15am to start is an overkill as 350kms to Kurnool at a steady 100-120kmph can be easily covered in 3.5 hours maximum ( including one or two 5 mins breaks). Therefore, a sharp 7:00AM target to start will still ensure you all drive liesurely and reach the venue by 11am

Overall, we will revise the start timings for both Hyderabad and Bangalore guys.

I recommend Hyderabad guys should be on highway driving by latest 8:00AM

Note : Lets reach the Kurnool venue by 11:00AM instead of 11:30AM. Lets all plan backwards accordingly

Devanhalli to Kurnool at a sedate 100-120 is maximum 3.5 hours with a couple of bio halts while Shamshabad to Kurnool is similarly maximum 2 hours : based on the logs of my wife's last drive on this highway. Well, she did touch 140 without realising but quickly brought the speed down to 120 which is her self set limit.

Catching up will not be a problem, I always like to follow someone if in a convoy, you can lead me in front, so problem solved

We will be driving an unstable(as per many people and reviews) MUV. Hence will not be going more than 90kmph. Hence the ask for leaving 1 hour early. Even if we reach the place early then we can stroll around until everyone comes.

Bajaj Saab, Two ways to look at it. If we want, we can make the restuarant to open at 11am as we are pre-booking. Another way to look at it is if we reach early we can spend time on taking pictures, stroll around etc.

Therefore, I think reaching the Kurnool Venue at 11:00am should be our target

The way you posted this comment seems quite different. As in, you havent driven a Xylo yet as you refer to reviews and other people's opinion than your own driving experience of Xylo?

Iam not sure if you ever drove on this stretch. 100kmph is like walk in the park. Even a maruti 800 can do better speeds than that. So dont worry, you can follow the convoy and you should be good to go.

How about sitting on the banks of Tungbhadra river and getting nostalgic about all the good things about Hampi?

The venue at Kurnool has been changed from Holiday Inn Garden Restaurant to Hotel DV Mansion which assures us of having a restaurant which has a/c working during power cuts.
