We had a splendid time today, and the turnout, despite last minute drop outs, was decent.

Guys who dropped out missed the great food we had, and the joy of the drive amid very pleasant weather.

Three of us had the luxury of being driven in Jeetaman's Sonata Embera, which greatly impressed us with its refinement and tonnes of interior space.

I also enjoyed short trips on Sparsh's Ertiga and Ram Alluri's Safari.

Our Yearly drive to Nagarjunsagar Dam during the monsoon is always the most pleasureable drive of Hyderabad Team-BHP

150kms was covered in exactly 2 hours even though the roads were not arrow straight nor highway type, quite bumpy actually

We decided not to visit the Ethipothalla Falls this time and went to other side of the dam where unfortunately the water levels were pathetically low

Then pit stop was at Vijay Vihar for some soft drinks and lots of snacks including their most delicious fish fry then as they ran out of food, we stopped further at the new place for one of the best lunches that I enjoyed in a drive meet, almost every dish was quite good

Overall, i will remember this drive meet because this was the first time I didnt drive my car

Wow. I envy all other fellow BHPians who had this beautiful drive. I should have joined a month before so that I would get a chance to meet you all and I would've been in the pics too. I won't miss the next meet for sure.

In most probability, we will drive to Warangal to have lunch at the fabulous "Hotel City Grand" maybe in August

You bet Srikanth. That was a fantastic meet and Iam dying to go back to CG for a good lunch one more time. Hoping the quality remains good ( confirmed that its still quite good by my cousin who keeps travelling to warangal once or twice a month)

Yup, a classmate's daughter is getting married here in Hyderabad on 11th August so will be having other outstation friends coming in and staying as guests at home.

That's a trademark meet/s that will happen each year. This year also many are planned. As the festival started just today (even though haleem is available in Hyderabad from over a week now), we plan to do these haleem meets in a week or two.
