Sorry to pop in, but looking at the way Hydi BHPians meet so often it totally contradict the western side BHPians meet to drive, you guys meet to eat.

Have been a close follower of the Hyderabad meets coz I get to see so many dishes spread at the end. Maybe some one from Mumbai should take a cue and arrange for a Ramzan feast meet.

I have an airport run on 3rd. The flight lands at 7 pm and by the time I drop the guest at home and come to join you guys, it will be 11 pm or so. May be I can directly meet you all at Shadab for dinner. My presence will be tentative till the end of the meet.

The Haleem season tilts the ratio. It is something no Hyderabadi (certain Bangaloreans too) misses.

You are probably remotely slightly faintly right ('To Drive & To Eat'). There is a stomach to feed at the end of the drive.

The way we plan our meets, it SHOULD be "Drive to Eat", or "Redlining the Indian hotel industry", and nothing else. That's what we really do.

I too want to join in, however like last time, if I can tag along with someone going from Hitec city area, I'm game. Else I am tentative since I don't have a 2 wheeler. If there are few bike-less guys, we can even hire a taxi and share the expense

@Ghodlur, I can downright say, when it comes to frequency of TBHP Meets, Hyderabad wins hands down in the country and have done many theme based meets like

Car Meets
Car + Bike Meets
Ghazal Night Meet
Boat Meet
Nizami Food Festival Meet
Penthouse Meets

etc.etc...

Since we are doing meets from 2006 December, many of us kind of got bored with drive meets as having done it so often in past. Hence, now the focus of the hydeez is towards its true and inner passion ; FOOD

Yes, you should take the lead and conduct a Ramzaan Meet in Mumbai. Not sure if the non veg delicacies can match what we get here in Hyderabad

@DD, Nice List of Meets done this year. We should keep track of how many official meets happen ( Unofficial, I know there is no count

Bikes are easier to maneuver in the old city and narrow roads but cars can also go on the route we intend to take. Parking may not be available in front of the entrances to the venues but certainly possible near by. This said, there will be a mix of cars and bikes.
