Looks like I missed a good meet, I had a gruelling day yesterday and also my car has gone in for a service (was not able to go and fetch it!) so decided to take a rain check.

Hey guys had a wonderful time yesterday - the meet was short and sweet. Finally managed to put faces to the handle names.

All in all, a great day with an equally great company of like minded folks. We should do this more often, than sit at our desks and type away :P

What a turn-out

Been ages since my last meet and it was nice to meet so many like-minded folks.

The weather was hot, i was cooking in the heat and secretly i was wishing i had driven down instead, but it was a nice change to ride after a long time as well.

yes...that's the one
Seeing this, I remember my Ferrari gifted which I got in shell...in 2009 IIRC.
Bangalore's summer had melted it and it went out of shape when I had fixed it there and parked it in the sun.

On my return journey, I took the Ghati subramanya road Just before that railway overbridge. I didn't go to Thondebhavi.
Below is the route I took from our breakfast point and back to the same point.
On top, you can see Gunjur lake which brraj and shishirbn went.

There were 3 hairpin bends/ U-turns/ Switchbacks Whatever you may like to call them.
Since tarmac was good I took those fairly fast and enjoyed each one of them.
By the time nkrishnap, KarthiK and crazy_driver could finish a tender coconut, I caught up with them near D-cross.

Oh Man ! Absolutely dry. You should see this place in Aug/Sep. The place is green!

+1. During monsoon, this is the most scenic area between Bangalore and Gauribidanur

@brraj, please post the picture of your i10 which you took at our meeting point with the mud wall as the background.

@brraj is the unofficial off-road scout for the Bangalore BHP gang. In previous meets, he has gone where no SUV has gone before. His i10 has jumped onto some rocks that even @aviorp's Scorpio did not think of going to!
