Nice drive and meet. Thanks to all for the pics and report. Turns out I was out and about on the same day, doing the same thing. Except that I like totally empty roads and generally not a soul around. Maybe next time I can persuade myself to join you guys and digest a couple more cars on the road

Here is a pic of my 7:00 am drive. Bandra - Chembur - CST - Colaba - breakfast with a fellow BHPian - Bandra. The Eastern Freeway feels like a time warp, even maintaining reasonable speeds can get one from one end to the other in much lesser time than can be expected from the old route, provided there isn't a traffic snarl en route.

Guys really sorry for giving the taang specially after taunting others myself for giving the taang. Had to miss out due to an urgent work related complication and spent the entire day in a Bhiwandi warehouse. Looks like you guys had a good time. Next time for sure.

Ah, so we missed you by a few hours! The freeway remained empty even at 10:30am. But after exiting it, there was regular traffic on the town side. None of us could have stopped next to the Asiatic Library to get a nice shot like you did.

Great Initiatives Guys and equally awesome pics

As a newbie i would love to meet up with fellow Team BHPians and eat your brains

However i work in the Navi Mumbai belt and by the time I leave, the traffic will not let me reach Powai on time sadly.

However if there are any weekend meets than I am game. Loved the expressway meet, I myself have been thinking about going there, but haven't been able to do that yet. I would also like to meet folks who live in Thane (like Ghodlur) especially as I need to get some knowledge download on resources in my city like good mechanics, etc. So if any experienced member would like to share some tips over a cup of coffee or wadapav, let me know.
