Zombie Drive for tonight is primarily on hold.

However, we are meeting tomorrow morning for Breakfast at Candies + Autocar Performance show. Primary motivation for doing this in the morning is we'll be in APS as soon as the gates open, and avoiding a major part of the crowd that turns up in the day.

Speedy, planning to be there around 9:15am.
Breakfast and general chit-chat till 10:45am and then reach BKC by 11am.

Guys sorry missing the meet this time. Have been on a road trip to Shimla and beyond for the past one week and currently in Chandigarh. Will be reaching back Sunday evening.

One word..AWESOME! Don't remember the last time I had so much fun.
Here're the pics:

One difference this time. I was not driving and hitched a ride with Pritam in his Octi. That's Pritam waiting for me (I was late) at Airoli.


We reached Candies around 10 minutes later than planned.


Most of the others were already there.
That's Rohit, Jignesh, Sid and Yogesh.




One mini fiasco. Most of the food had not arrived at Candies and whatever was available was non-veg. So we waited and browsed through the menu.


The place has interesting interior.












Our rides for today - Raghav's FFE Swift, Rohit's Duster and Esmail's Polo GT in the picture.


After a little bit of deliberation, we decided to order omelets and guess what, they had ran out of eggs. Esmail's pose and expression says it all!


We the hungry folks were getting more hungry and someone was smiling at us.


And then the good news arrived in a Candies van. Yogesh and Sid immediately checked out what all has arrived.


After a few futile attempts to order something, Punjab-da-Puttar Rohit took over and managed to get all orders in really fast.


It was almost 10am. Everybody got busy after that.

We were expecting speedy to join for breakfast, but seems he got tied up with something at the last moment.

We started towards BKC at 10:45am. I shifted to Raghav's Swift, my first time inside his FFE Swift. Was good fun. We missed a turn and did a little bit of loop, so missed the others on our way to BKC.


At the parking, all the other cars from the group had already came in. That's Rohit joining in.


Spotted a stickered Verna.


Why does it look like Aman is giving some sort of 'hafta' / protection-money to Sid?


After the tickets everything was in JBL Orange. We grabbed an opportunity to click a couple of group pics again.

After the first few stalls belonging to the "do not come close - we are pricey" and "stay clear of the glass-fence" category, we moved ahead to the 'regular cars'. And this is where all the fun started. We checked out practically every car. Sometimes did a 'halla-bol' on specific cars and got 5 of us in a car.

The Hyundai stall had the Grand. We liked the digital display at the back much better.






It was actually a great brackground for pics..as demonstrated by Rohit in this pic.


Moving on. Forgot to click any car-pics at the Hyundai stall :-P.

We all loved it. Rohit in the driver's seat.
