I just got back home. I guess others also must have reached their homes.

The drive, in one word: EPIC.

In more words... well, I'm planning to write a travelogue about it. This one surely deserves its own thread.

Reached home!
This drive turned out to be a lot bigger than what we all had expected. Rightly described as EPIC.
Will post the pics that I have.
Will wait for a TL from EagleEye.

Had to drop out the night before as the extended family was not keen on a drive. They wanted to go somehwere nearby and have fun. So 3 cars from the family and 18 people went to Kondeshwar in Badlapur instead.

PMed Swapszone and EagleEye on Saturday night to ensure that there is no confusion around my participation.

Great! Was tempted to call you or Swapnil around 9pm yesterday, but the gut-feel said you guys might still be on road.So avoided distracting you by a call.

Would look forward to a travelogue with amazing pics from your Sony!

I thought, it would be longer. The section from Ghoti to Wilson dam and beyond that to Radha falls or Amruteshwar temple...the distance is less, but road conditions cause increase in travel time.

Glad that you guys had fun! Would look forward to some fantastic snaps and reading the experiences.

Great! Then, do I have to add reading 2 travelogues to my schedule?

Actually there is a huge backlog.
1. My Ratnagiri dash for a weekend
2. Dabhosa-Jawhar one day trip one week back
3. Shilonda nature trail in SGNP done on Saturday
4. Kondeshwar done on Sunday

I am thinking of putting all trips this monsoon in a single log.

Let the photos tell the story.
So more of photologs than travelogues.

The teaser pic by eagle eye is awesome.

Earlier I did plan to go on the 4th August to Malshej.
But situation there seems bad and the road is still not cleared. And I'm working on 11th August. So it would be on 18th August mostly. 15th August also is an option, but don't know how many would agree.

Raj,

Seems that you are not independant on the Independance Day. Or planning to take the Friday off to get extended weekend so you can get away from the City. SDP inspiration??
