Answer to question # 1: The OHC was stuck in the sand because of the excessive wheelspin and ofcourse the sand was damn loose!!!
Answer to question # 2: Mad manson was upto his mad antics!!
Answer to question # 3: You think there would be no pictures of my car if it were present at the meet????? hhahahahahahaa, car was in the garage in pune with a very pissing off radiator leak!!!!

And lastly............ thank you everyone for the appreciation of my coverage of the event!!!

hey manson, i've got a stock baleno, except for the ractive ev500, (your suggestion) and falken ze502 205/60R13 rubber... she clocked 195 on the way back, a little on the downward gradient tho, with 4people in the car.. I've got a 2% speedo error, so it turns out to be ~200kmph.. m thinking of getting a good freeflow made.. saving cash for that...

cheers!
Shrivz..

P.S. Mods sorry for the OT discussion again..

wouldn't the 2% error imply reducing the speedo indicated speed? shantanu where are you?

i'm in love with the photoshopped snap of jeetu s ohc, the dark one done by rehaan.

i used the tire calculator and it said that if my speedo shows 100kmph, i'll actually be travelling at 102, since the tires are 2% larger in diameter than the stock ones (165/70R13)... but the funny thing is that they dont seem to be bigger, maybe its because of the bulge on them

Yup, i did see 195 on his speedo and he's right about the 2% error (increase) but, you know how speedos are. So, lets just leave it at that and be happy. Hehe

I'm not doubting the 2% error thing. Just wanted to clarify that if is trying to approximate his true speed, then after adding 2% due to increase in tyre size should even imply a decrease due to speedo error.
Btw, shantanu what is %age of speedo error in the case of an ohc?

manson.

p.s. where is the palm beach road video?
