Meet Report:

If you say today's drive meet was the best Delhi/NCR Team-BHP meet, I know you are being modest, it was the BESTEST meet ever. Would be really unjustifying this wonderful meet, if I don't write a brief report on what transpired in the whole meet-cum-drive to Karnal.

9:05AM: Sidd (Red Punto) and me (Apache RTR 180) reached meet point, to find Abeer (Rakesh-Black Accent), Beast_Within (Parikshit - Swift) and Aditya Anand (Red Vista) already assembled at meet point and exchanging pleasantries.

9:30AM: Alive2Drive (Sugam with Aarti - white i20), Sameer (White Figo), Asthana#No.1 with Mayankk (Black Fiesta), Rahul Sharma with a friend (XUV500), Rahul Bangia (metallic Figo) and penultimately Maglev (Rahul Bedi - SX4) turned up, and the wait began for devilwearsprada (Utsav - Esteem).

9:45AM: Finally, the elusive devilwearsprada turns up, headlights flashing...everybody is becoming impatient to move. Short pleasantries over, we depart at 9:50; I decide first break at Sukhdev Dhaba to regroup (knew few people would get separated and it would be a good idea to regroup and discuss, if any issues brought to light).

10:40AM: I along with Parikshit and Rakesh ji are the last to reach Sukhdev, everyone else had sat around reserved tables, and were sipping tea.
Sat with the 2 Rahuls, Abeer and Parikshit exchanged stories of long tours (you know it will be centered around Ladakh)

11:05AM: Departed from Sukhdev, Abeer (Rakeshji) leading the pack with Sameer following (determined not to cross 90 to get those magical mileage figures).

Soon, the fast moving XUV500 and SX4 (driven by maglev) overtook us, I resisted and rode turn by turn with Abeer, Asthana and Parikshit.

12:00PM: Reached Haveli@Karnal, saw everyone into parking and guided Aditya back to Haveli who overlooked the right turn (an event I was anticipating since Day 1 of meet plan).

Next we proceeded to the Haveli main dining hall, and on knowing the non-veg section is separate, we left for that section (a lot of marching about was involved to be honest). Clubbed 3 long dining seats so that the whole group is accommodated.

1:10PM: Our lunch arrived and everyone helped themselves to the delicacies among lots of laughter and leg pulling (mostly of Aditya - our youngest member).

All thanks to Rahul Bangia who came up with the suggestion of an introductory round, kudos to which the logic behind everyone's Team-BHP handle was explained, favorite rides and owned rides were discussed as well as number of attempts to get into Team-BHP were disclosed. This was the most fun part and offline BHPians were inspired to apply one more time.

2:00PM: We left for the final photoshoot along with our respective rides. But due to limited space for all the cars at one place, we had to leave for Savoy Greens which boasted space enough for a decent photoshoot.

2:40PM: Photoshoot at Savoy Greens starts, courtesy Utsav (devilwearsprada) our professional and official (from now on) photographer. I clicked a few wonderful pics too.

3:15PM: Wrapped up photoshoot session and departed for our homes, thus marking an end of this wonderful meet.

4:40PM: Reached home, safe and sound.

Unfortunately, Aarti (Sugam's better half) was the only female in this meet, and I don't know if she really enjoyed as mush as we guys did.

Will be posting the pics in sets of 10 next with appropriate taglines indicating the schedule when they were clicked.

Eagerly waiting to meet all you wonderful people again in next meet, which in all probability will be organized in the last weeks of January.

First of all thanks a lot for Sameerg001 and SJD@delhi for organizing the meet. I and my better half had a great time at the meet. I think we should make such meets as monthly meets and encourage high participation rate. This time we had 11 cars and a bike at the meet. Hope to see more cars/bikes on the next meet.
