Sudarshan Sir, hats off to you! This is a delightful choice for an overnight meet! Particularly so for me, because Kannur happens to be my hometown and I know Payyambalam beach like the back of my hand!

I will add my name to the tentative list as of now. kindly note that I would not be availing accommodation - my home is just 5 minutes drive from the resorts/beach and my mom would definitely not approve me staying away from her when I am there. I could be with you people till the time you all sleep, go back home for the night and rejoin next day morning. If you need any help in route planing, etc, please let me know.

RSUDARSANAN, i am changing my status to "Confirmed" below.
We would prefer a "non AC" accomodation to take care of my wife's health condition as well enjoy the sea breeze, which is a rare occassion , let me know the transfer details once you get it confirmed.

With robimahanta's confirmation, accommodation in Kanaka Beach House and Asokam Beach Resort is now "house full" .
- Each couple/family are allotted an a/c double room
- Two single members share an a/c double room.
- The only two non a/c rooms have been allotted to shimshumara

Allocation of rooms has just commenced.
Allocating on 'first come first served' basis, as room tariff varies based on the category/description.
When your turn comes, you will be allocated one of the available twin share rooms.
Your share of the room tariff will be intimated, which you may remit by online transfer to my bank account or in cash to me as is convenient.

FYI: It was only in Feb that sufficient beach accommodation was available to launch this 'surf n turf' drive meet as also the need to lock-in the said accommodation.

The scheduled comfort stops coupled with regroup points should mitigate the tedium of the drive for the kids and better halves .
