Well my advice would be never take anyones word as a final until the second they land up at the meet point

.. Anyone has an idea where is godfather ?? Seems to be missing from here ??

Regarding the place , i suggest we keep it open until the penultimate day .. Find out from all those who have confirmed asto what would be their ideal route and then decide .. What say ??

Guys,

We need to break this impasse by doing 2 things ASAP:

1. Come with a list of well thought-of 5 places for the drive and convert into a poll. The place with the most votes wins, naturally - some folks might feel bitter for their choice not being included - pl do bear in mind that there's nothing personal against those whose choice might get left out inadvertently and that this is the only way to arrive at a common consensus.
A champion amongst you please come forward and take the initiative to conduct this poll. I could have done it but for my work load/pressures.

2. This champion please conduct a pulse check 2 days before the meet date on the total number of cars and the total number of ppl (incl any friends, relatives etc.) attending. For those confirmed, pl collect cell phone numbers via PM.

There has to be one person coordinating this if its gotta be smooth.

I have joined this group but couldn't meet you all in any similar occasion. I would like to spend time meeting each one of you.

Let the place be closer to Bangalore, so that we don't spend more time travelling instead of gathering together. I prefer any place within 100Kms or 2Hrs drive.

Please let me know if I can join anybody, as I am planning to take snaps and prefer the back seat for obvious reason. Please PM me in case anybody's back seat is free for me

Ok guys its time to decide on the dates .. Can all those who have confirmed decide on what date they would want the drive to be ?? The decision about the destination could be made later ..

Prashant , the meet is all about spending time with your cars and with like minded people and also to get to know the new comers and make some really good friends... We also have meets within the city during the weekends too ..

I suggest even for those of us who want to join, conduct a poll - the most preferred date wins - its the most democratic solution and besides, you'll never be able to satisfy every individual preference anyway!

Similarly for the next hurdle - the destination!

Finally, the confirmation. I'll PM you my num - and BTW, I'm confirmed on any Sunday you folks finalize on.

McLaren count me and a friend in (75%) and can confirm once we know the destination and exact date.

Will be nice to meet some more of the bangy t-bhpians since Im relatively new to the forum and can never seem to make it to the LCD meets...
