Himanshu , the drive to nandi hills is also a good idea , but the thing being until the hill climb its pretty boring and uneventful .. The fun is when u begin the climb .. Need to do nandi hills once more ..

Sushrutha , i suggest if there is a good turnout of about 4-5 cars and about 10 people go ahead and do the drive rather than waiting for more to confirm .. From what i have seen with more time more people tend to drop out .. If u all are indeed willing to wait until the next weekend , then take it for granted that memo , jay , v1p3r and myself would surely join in as well ..

That said i will send out SMS to all the regulars and tell them about the meet ...

22nd Saturday = college + other work commitments, not possible.

The F1 is on the 30th, Qualifying on the 29th.. so 22nd/23rd is juz.. fine..

. Any day's fine by me. The destination doesn't really matter. We can all meet up and decide that morning. Come on, lets decide on the date. We gotta make it happen this weekend. It's just another 2 days away.

Well well....seems like all the bangaloreans are hibernating

Ok now that none has come up with either the destination or the date, my adocity forces me to put up a decision on behalf of many of us who have been waiting for a response from you guys...

"The meet is on 22nd July(Sat) and the destination is Nandi hills".

My decision is based on some research on who is available on what day, on some people's apprehensiveness on the mysore rd thingie and also on the blandness of the Krishnagiri route!!!

So lets meet up at 7:00am "sharp" just after the Mekhri circle. Lets line our cars in the yellow line bang opposite to the HP petrol pump which is on the right hand side. We all assemble at 7:00am sharp and head to the destination at 7:10am sharp so that we can avoid the traffic completely and extract the maximum out of our divine drive...

Guys, just confirm your participation with something like this starting with mine:
"The Wolf(Ritesh), OHC Vtec, 22nd July, confirmed".

P.S: Late comers, pardon us if we leave you guys to catch up with us!!!
P.S: Hitch hikers kindly arrange, your have 2 more days to go. My car is full(2members..hehe).

Ritesh , if nandi hills is the final destination then just one bit of caution .. The moment u take the right from the village and head onto the climb make sure for the 1st 2 kms everyone is driving safe at speeds of not more than 60 .. The road is not good in sections only for these initial 2 kms with broken patches .. After that its a bliss all the way upto the gate ..

Also make sure that no one carries any eatables on the jolly walks around the part for the monkeys wont spare u

.. I mean it seriously .. The monkeys pounce on u with the first sight of FOOD ..

Wish i could do this trip , was super super fun the last time memo and myself did it .. Alas , there is always a next time .. Looking forward to a better drive through the coffee 500 chickmagalore rally section the very next day ..

Dude 7 AM on Saturday is a KILLER!

Lets make it 8AM cause some of us leave real far off from Mekhri circle.

If this can be on Sunday 23rd I would be at the meet avenue 1 hour before the scheduled time ! Saturday would rule me out due to a critical videocon meeting with an offshore customer.

However if you guys are all set for Saturday 22nd, then enjoy yourselves, have a gala time and don't forget to post pics!
