thats b'coz posts on "shifting gears" - that is the sub forum for general discussions dont get counted as actual posts....and most of my posts are in The T-Bhp meet section which is under "Shifting Gears". Its only my posts on 'how to drift a fwd car' that are counted as my actual posts

fair and square....i'm comfy enough as it is posting in this section

Cheers,

J

Hey nitrous, is the movie worth the time spent ? Asking because i got the DVD and we never went to more than 30 mins into the movie, even after 3-4 attempts. Did not hold our interest like the 1st one did. As is the story with most sequels, the 1st one was awesome, the 2nd was so-so and the 3rd is well ...

Bro, its a CAR-FLICK with EVOs, twin-turbo nissan 350z, Skyline powered Mustang,....
That sure does it to me and most others.

PS: The movie hasn't released yet!! Damn, these misinforming Satyam cinemas!

bro, try watchin the movie on the large screen with fella bhp'ian's alongside drooling and wowing the cars....you'll regret buyin a DVD player in the first place !

I've been successfully resisting the temptation to watch the DVD of part 3.....want to watch it on Satyam and with the rest of the guys !

how was ur trip to goa ? did u drive down ? any experiences to share ?

Cheers,

Saw the movie listing under Sathyam - "coming soon". Maybe you are right. The big screen would be better.

Goa was great. Actually it was awesome. My rating of Kerala as paradise has been shaken - I would not mind spending retirement at Goa. Driving down would have been hectic - so flew down.
The last time I was there was from college in '91 and all we did was go to beach-get drunk-swim, repeat the pattern at next beach.

But this time, we rented a bike and rode out to different parts (around 200kms in 2 days is not bad). A super place. The Marriott was bang on the beach, with a great view and great food. Had real fun. Already thinking of an encore soon. Pity I missed the Goa tbhp meet.

A few weeks ago, we had been to the Woodlands drive-in restaurant for an early Sunday morning breakfast. Lots of cars to ogle at, though the food is nothing to talk about.

Just wondering whether it would be a nice place for our meets - has shade, lots of room to park and checkout our rides, food etc. Though I don't think we can revv cars or do wheelspins or hi-volume ICE checkouts like we do on the beach. But then the beach gets real hot in the mornings and no shade anywhere.
