Just a small note. Whatsapp these days is the preferred mode of communication for planning meets. My suggestion would be to put up details of the meet here and then plan the meet over whatsapp later on if not here.

That way any new member who wants to join can read the post here and join the meet. Will be good to see new faces as well.

What garage do you guys use ?

I have been going to JMD skoda till the warranty lasted. The Garage I used to go to in Koparkhairane is shut down and now i have to find a Garage whom i can trust.

You can go to SK Karzone at Nerul, near Maruti Automotive showroom. Hopefully you wouldn't have to look for another garage anymore.

Had been there on the weekend. They didnt have the spares ( rear shockup studds for my rapid). They couldnt source it too. Also he said he will get back by evening and he didnt.

. I told him that spares are available and i get it if he can replace it but he didnt agree nor he got back. But the place seems ok to get work done if they can source the spares quickly enough.

i got the studds easily at Shetty motors in Turbhe at around 5 PM and replaced it in Kalamboli at a garage that my bro-in-law knows. was back home by 7.30 PM

. it was about removing 3 bolts per studd and refitting it.

For VAG cars you can contact Afzal on +91 86557 27777. Nerul based, and my friends Jetta is regularly serviced there. He also has proper diagnostic tools and knows VCDS as well.

Spares cheaper than showroom. He also matched paint to factory finish on the said Jetta.
