Pity! The 18th is the Mumbai Marathon, so some of us might be moving a lot slower than the guys heading to Nashik or wherever.

Here's hoping for some more votes for the Feb, first week.

Another mega meet and I hope to make it this time around. The duration and the destination is not a concern for me, but the date is, as I would be in Singapore and won't be able to make it if its on 18th Jan. Also, as Vinodbollini pointed out that the Mumbai Marathon would be on the same day so hopefully we can do it post 18th Jan, which also works for me.

But there are still a lot of regulars yet to vote.

Hope we finalize a date by the end of November.

Last mega meet at Lonavala was very good! This time let us hope for more participants.

As Mumbai Marathon is on 18th Jan we should consider 1st Feb for Mega meet.
Few more suggestions on locations:
Drive via eway - imagica - pali route for both Mumbai and Pune Members.
1) Diveagar (clean beach although small town)
2) Mahad / Raigad (Lunch at Motel Visava - Descent parking space and descent food as well)
3) NH17 - Kashedi Ghat Drive (food at one of the Dhabas)
4) Bhor / Bhatghar dam near Pune (via eway - Pune route for Mumbai members)

Hi Team BHPians (Mumbai and Pune); been around and been posting and reading stuff but this time I really want to join you guys. I have seen so many Bumper stickers around Mumbai and ever growing. I am a MH-12 but in Mumbai drive a Ford Figo 2011 (Diesel) Silver. Regular circuit Juhu to Colaba and back.

I personally believe that 25th Jan will be an awesome date to meet up; next day is holiday and its a long weekend. Though I am game for any date as this would be my first time in a TeamBHP meet. Do keep us posted ...

Patil khanawal seems to be pretty famous. Now I seriously want to go there.
A lot of people have been telling me about it on and off the forum.

Anyways, as of now we are just polling for the dates to be finalised. Will be waiting till November end to freeze on the dates.

Will start looking for venue options post that. We will surely do a recce. So please let the ideas flow in.

I am in for any weekend except 8th Feb. I will be on my bike too.

How about sunday rafting at Kolad or a drive upto Bandardhara or Kamshet or Della Adventures or Sula Vineyards or Diveagar or Pawna?? I guess all these are more or less equidistant from both Mumbai and Pune. I have not been to these places except Diveagar so cannot comment on breakfast/lunch options.

With the praise for that patil khanawal, I'm warming up to the idea of an overnight beach trip, but the logistics will be a big bother there.

Overnight plan seems to be a bit difficult as most won't agree.

Anyways let's see.

As of now 18th January winning. People seem to not care about the Marathon.

I think, in a weeks time we have to finalize the venue since that will require few logistic arrangements post that. 18th is not a bad date and I don't think Marathon will hamper anyone's mobility as the planned exit from Mumbai would be early morning, before the Marathon starts at 6:45.

Important is the venue, much more than the date.
