From the photos, it looks like a really good overnighter took place. Thanks for all the uploaders for posting the pics.
P.S. : Who is trying to feed the deer? Is the deer in that pic a domestic one or a jungle one ? AFAIK, feeding wild animals is not permitted in any jungle in India.

A quick recap of the drive. Captured on my phone; nothing professional about it

Everytime I think of attending the meets organized by Sudarsan sir, I end up missing it due to one or the other hurdles. Probably when the next meet is organized I will be travelling and I might miss that as well.

Now only option left is to pray and try to get an opportunity to meet you guys in person and do an overnighter.

And nice to see all of you had a great time in the meet and thanks for the pics guys Will definitely try to make it for the meet next time.

Sigh- Any plans for having one of these in Hyderabad guys?

@mods, probably OT, but how many registered members do we have in Hyderabad?

Looks like you guys had good fun in this trip!. Hope to be part of a meet soon!

Sorry to nitpick but saw couple of pics where an XUV500 (is it) being very close to an elephant and another one where people are feeding deers. Ain't both wrong?

Woohoo.. Guys, this looks a fantastic outing. I surely missed this one due to other activities preceding and post dating this drive apart from the fact that I am wary of heat. Well let's wait to see if there is anything planned around July - Sept when the rain gods wash the country clean. Would definitely want to team up with you guys and be little more of a Bhpian.
Cheers

He drove the XUV once he came to know its a tamed one and not wild one.
How did he come to know its tamed? well it was chained.
He patiently waited for some vehicle to pass, Luckily the regular ksrtc bus crossed it without any issues and he was the second one to pass.

Again its a tamed one, Usually wild deer will not come close to humans and ask for food .
In jeep safari wild deers maintained quite a distance just by hearing jeep sound.

Thanks brraj for clarifying. Nothing to point out anybody but was curious to know! Thanks again.

It is better to avoid petting or touching a deer. They always have ticks which might carry Lyme disease, which can be pretty dangerous.

Few pictures from my side :

I noticed an empty clearing close to where the other guys had parked, after a bit of wheelspin and offroading, made it to the top of a small hill at the parking lot :

Other cars :

On the way to the safari, two elephants blocked the road

Oh wait, there is a third one!

They are NOT tamed deers. They are wild deers just accustomed to human company/contact and hence they willingly approached you.
