The following is a rather different team-bhp meet. Firstly, it took place in paris. Secondly, it involved just 2 bhpians - namely me (Deeps) and Rtech. This report is long overdue as the meet occured on the 24th Feb on the day that Rtech landed in Paris. We met up in the afternoon at the hotel where Rtech was staying. Then we decided to walk along the Champs Elysees which houses several car showrooms including Renault, Peugeot, Toyota and Mercedes-Benz. On the way there were some bike shops which we checked out. This led me to believe that Rtech was more of a biker than a driver(??). Checking out the showrooms with Rtech was good fun as i hadn't discussed cars with someone so knowledgeable for a long time. The following are some of the beauties we found.

This is me but the kid is not mine as Rtech would have you believe

RTech

The new M Class

The CLS

The CLS rear

Rtech impressed by the new A Class

CLK 500

CLK interior

Notice the message on the computer screen behind the CLK. The electricals aren't screwed up in the cars alone abut also the showrooms.

Renault from back in the day

Renault from present day

The rear couldn't possible get any uglier than this.

Rtech loved the rear.

Rtech's favorite bike of the day - if i remember correctly. Found it parked along the road.

On the way, we went into a Skoda showroom and found that there was only one salesperson there. And he was moving the cars around, presumably out of boredom. The new octavia had much better interiors. Rtech found the pedals to be off-center but i was more concerned about the travel of the clutch which was about twice as much as that on my clio. We also met the Fabia which had ridiculous rear legroom but the qualitywise it was on par with the Octavia.

Soon after the weather became really bad and we had to end our excursion. But overall, my 1st team-bhp meet was a great success. So, if any other bhpian is coming to Paris in the future just PM me.

Hey deep's, great shots! I was wondering when they were gonna be put up, but I didn't expect a write-up as well, so worth the wait! These bike shots are going into my archive right now.

On the "bike-of-the-day" well, the reason behind that was the rare Yamaha GTS1000 is a living legend. In 1993, when it was introduced to the public, it was unbelievable. It still is as you can see from that single sided front wishbone suspension and Omega frame. Some other notable features the GTS1000 was known for:
- First regular production bike to have fuel injection
- RAAD (Rationally ADvanced Design)
- Front disc brake mounted in the centreline of the bike making for greater stabilty
- ABS

Anyways, thats for a different thread!

Was a great meeting and thanks for your hospitality! BTW, I was hoping to see your Clio with T-BHP stickers on it as well. Make sure you post a few of those too.

LOL dude, security threat!

Rudra, I think you are going to get helluva lot of proposals due to these "prolific" poses. Get ready for the potentials
