Folks, Jumping in late again but have we finalized the meet point as Rabindra Tirtha in Rajarhat?

If so, members should note that we are in the midst of Monsoons and it might not be possible for 40 or so cars to park in the service lane and then all members congregate and chit chat before heading off to AHD/ Kolaghat/ Sher-E-Punjab. If we all agree to meet at one place, IMHO, we should have different meeting spots (As in previous meets) like:

1. Haldirams VIP Road
2. Arsalan Park Circus
3. Golpark

The cars can then proceed to the main venue which could be :

1. AHD Kolaghat
2. Shere E Punjab
3. Express Food Plaza (Next to Shere E Punjab) - This is a new joint and seems to be worth a try as well.

This is a valid point, if we are planing the final destination at NH then morning Rajarhat will not be a suitable option.

This time we can make the meeting point @ CCD before AHD, the meeting point of Super car's.

Accordingly we can divide ourselves for initial meeting point at,

Sorry guys just saw this thread. Not been a part of this before unfortunately, but I have an option for a new destination if everyone is up for a slightly longer drive.

Place is called Maheshganj Estate, Balakhana. More details here : www.balakhana.com
This is a heritage property owned by my family that we have now converted to a homestay, overseen by my parents personally.

It takes about 3hrs (130 kms) from the 2nd Hoogly bridge. It is located near Krishnanagar, and it is across the river from Mayapur, Iskon temple.

We do not give do day trips, but I can make an exception for a Team-Bhp member meet. We can work out a package for lunch there.

Let me know if you guys are upto it. If not this meet we can plan it out for the next one.

It's a good idea Hatari !! Anything for a drive but it depends on what the final consensus is. I had heard about this from a cousin of mine who had visited the property a few months ago; I believe by invitation from you father. If I am not mistaken, is your father an Old Paulite from St. Paul's School Darjeeling, Jalapahar ? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Good to know that the heritage property belongs to a fellow BHPian; shall plan a trip sometime in the future over a weekend !!
