How about having a drive meet which culminates with a dinner meet back in the city (read village).

People interested in only drive meet can participate in the drive part, people interested only in dinner meet can participate in the dinner part while those interested in both can enjoy both, the drive and the dinner.

Bajaj Saab. I think your suggestion is perfect and I was thinking on same lines

A short drive and lunch would be ideal to have best of both worlds

Any suggestions for lunch in city? We can get a deal in some place for a sunday brunch if numbers are healthy. What say?
