Team-BHP - Hyderabad : Dinner Meet ( Aug 19th, 2015) @ HRC

Hi all,

This year's meets start mid year. So lets have a meet this week end, the first official meet starts this July.

Lets have a Breakfast drive or Haleem meet (evening meet) depending on majority joining in.

Hi guys,

Its been pretty long since we all met, lets have a short drive/ride this weekend, I am told there is a new place similar to the Hill Park restaurant on the same Bangalore highway, and this place is right after the second toll gate while going to wards Bangalore/kurnool, 20 kms away from Jadcherla.

Lets drive/ride here have a good breakfast, good time. All are welcome, friends, family etc, irrespective of bikes or cars, this weather is awesome for both.

The Meeting point in the city is NMDC circle masabtank at 6:30AM and ORR Bangalore exit at 7:00AM.

Being a short drive/ride we should be back in city to attend office and other things too.So do join in, drive/ride or car-pool-up, no problem.

I have a late night call that extends till midnight, so I certainly cannot wake up early or even drive. If I do get up early, I'll see if I can hop into someone's car.

Pictures from morning drive.

There is evening Haleem meet as well, the meeting point is Gandhi medical college Basheerbagh, opposite MOR medical store at 6 PM. Attendees do put in your conformations. We plan to go to old city from some authentic Haleem unlike the ones served at branches through out the city.

The same list of people who attended in morning are confirmed, and I believe more joining as well. See you in the evening.

It was lazy and cool drive to day, we dint drive to the new place we made our stop at HillPark restaurant, given the time we followed. But we did have a really good, met you guys after so long, good chat and food. Food at this place has improved a bit since last time we were here.

We had a Brand new Polo GT TDI with us, it was still under run-in period so all pegged along to its slower acceleration and speeds which lead to a surprising thing, after eons Ravvs bro's superb's MFD changed DTE from 360kms to 450kms given the change in driving style.clap::p

The yesterday's Haleem meet was awesome like last year's. Here are the pictures from the same.

The haleem from Shadab hotel we had, was the best I had so far this season. The branches through out the city of the same or other hotels dint have the same taste. It was awesome meeting up with fellow Bhpians after so long.

We met up at the meeting point and carpooled given the parking issues at old city. We had a Jeep and a scorpio that ferried us to the old city, and a special thanks to Shamyal bhai and Shashidhar bro for driving us through that monsterous traffic. The Jeep did look a lot of fun with fellow bhpians having a gala ride in the top less car, others were chilled in comfort of scorpio.

We arrived at Shadab just at the right time around 9.00PM, any later would have resulted in a huge waiting time at the joint. We ordered Haleem, roti, mutton rana hundi and of course the famous shadad briyani. The dishes tasted excellent, on par with the reputation of the hotel.

This meet there were a little fewer people compared to last year, given the season I guess, the attendees were.

Nine adults and kids, it was a smaller group so slightly changed the plan of crawl and stuck to dinning out at Shadab instead of a crawl. It was fun though, we had a nice time.

Post food at Shadab, we stopped for a quick Jalebi bite near Highcourt, fresh made Jalebi dessert, apart from the traditional Hyderabadi dessersts. Post this we head back home.

It would be nice if we did such meets periodically. So guys, do join in for the future ones.
