Rt: You'll really have to follow the Eastbound from West Bombay direction set, considering that you're gonna be the ride for 2L8 & Viper. Ain't no way those two overfed baboons can come in on normal public roads - you'll have to use a dhow or a trawler or something...

Hey,

Which one of you guys is booking the table or is it assumed that we will get a table. Also i think the time to be rescheduled for 8.30 onwards considering that most people intend coming straight from work and they get off by 7pm. That way those who can come early have company.

As regards Viper's question, Mummeet & me are going this evening to talk to his relatives about getting a table. Shall also try to get a good deal from those guys if possible.

We'll be booking for 20.30hrs - 8.30pm.

I am in Delhi. Elf has volunteered to go to Golden Moments and make the arrangements. Maybe that is reason enough to forgive his smart mouth.

Anyways, he's gonna make some arrangements. Finally GM is a simple place, so come with open minds, not expecting some dinner jacket service. I am sure Elf will post after visiting there this evening.

My only request is that I don't want to be served by tatti.

Wokay guys,

Just got back from Goldem Mummemts, & Mummeet & Sam were kind enough to coordinate with me on this.

As expected, Mummeet turned out to be related to the dude who owned the place, Mr. Gill, & he's the one responsible for the fixed pricing & food that's gonna happen tomorrow.

We're confirmed for 20 guaranteed (space upto 50 people) show ups tomorrow, 20.30hrs onward till closing at 01.30hrs (or later, if the cops don't hassle too much).

I'll be fetching our guest of honour & turning up there around that time.

The Price:
300 bucks a head for the following:

The Non-Veg Menu:
Prawn Koliwada / Golden Prawn
Fish Koliwada / Golden Fish (Rawas)
Tangdi (Chicken) Kababs
Reshmi (Chicken) Tikkas

The Veg Menu:
Paneer Tikka / Paneer Chilly
Crispy Veg
Hara Bhara Kebabs
Mushroom Something.

Any other stuff we can ask for & if reasonable enough, shall be included in the price.

All soft drinks / sodas included.

What it doesn't include:
Beer, which we'll have to buy from them at their rates (not too expensive, I believe).
Booze.

We have to bring our OWN alcohol.
So everyone who is drinking please carry your own, or else there is a booze shop opposite the restaurant too. For example, Sam, me & Mummeet each are bringing our own.

Beer drinkers will have to buy beer at menu rates from the restaurant.
No concession on that, so no whining.

See you all tomorrow night, last minute shows are also most welcome.

Please note once again: We have to bring our OWN alcohol.
This way it's great - non-drinkers don't get a chance to whine about paying for udder's booj. Bring your appetites - the food's really really good...

I only read starters on the menu. What about the main food. I for one would definitely like to eat some proper food as well(read sabzi, dal , roti etc). No offense and thanks for the initiative. Maybe we need to rework the menu. What say guys. Does not make a diff if everyone else is OK with this i can always order seperately.

everyone: we didnt think main course would be needed as such, were offered the above alongwith the main course at 450, which we thought would in most cases be a waste.
Anyways anyone who needs anything in main course could go ahead and order, we'll just add that to the total bill.
if anyone has a suggestion to make then please do so, i'm sure things at GM are kinda flexible.

I think thats a great deal..300 bucks, all you can eat..and the mixes for the alcohol are included!!!

Viper, I think most of the people who are gonna be drinking wont really want to eat a full dinner, snacks & munchies is the way to go.

I'm sure everyone who wants to eat main course can just all collectively order..it would have been 450 anyway, I'm sure it'll still come to around that.

BTW, any wishkey drinkers around?
