Delhi Meet - November

Hello,

I just started this thread for 2 things

1) I'm gonna be in Delhi from Friday onwards for a few days. Would be nice if some of us could meet up. Ishaan? Any plans? Some Food and Drinks? Friday night? Saturday night? Do let me know if there's a plan.

2) Secondly, you are all invited to the opening of the new JBL store at MGF Metropolitan, Gurgaon, on Sunday 5th November. it's on the 2nd level, in line with Bose etc. Please do come. I will be there.

Sam,
If you like mutton, I suggest you try Karims(noida or NFC). On saturday and sunday they cook a special lamb dish which is prepared in 24 hours!
If you want really authentic kababs ask the chaps to take you to Karims!
I will be at the launch if I am in delhi on sunday.

I had a taste of that in 1993 when I visited Ballimaran. I read a special report about a place that serves it.

It's called 'nahari' !

It's just a sticky goo after cooking for 24 hours, or so they claim.

It was amazing. I think whoever called it a sticky goo does not know what good food is like. Next time they will claim that an aloo parantha is just a bland wheat dumpling!
