It was a fantastic trip, planned to the T and executed well [well, we tried atleast].
It was fun to be part of this trip and Yeh dil maange more.
This trip included coracle rides, monkey business on a lonely island, lunch served in the jungle - prepared by the tribals, a not-so-close encounter with wild elephants, taking a plunge in the river waters, some sort of off-roading for the sedans, a visit to the famous Silent valley national park.
Participated by 21 cars, we had many first timers and looking forward to meeting them in all future meets too.

First off A huge THANK YOU! to our Chief - RSUDARSANAN impeccable planning and co-ordination in all trips has guaranteed a group of blind followers, case in point -announcement of a mystery drive sold out in 48 hours with an RAC list!
Second a huge THANK YOU! the whole bunch of automobile enthusiasts who are equally high on life not only make each trip a blast to hang out with but make it a point to increase the fold by inviting new entries and make everyone feel comfortable and a joy to hang out with.

Who better to have when your baby TSI is injured ....its like you have a group of friends at home and not sure what to cook when Gordon Ramsey steps in and says move aside. I was lucky to have our very own DYI guru graaja who managed to fashion a rope out of a grocery bag. This guy will give McGyver a run for his money. Also thanks to everyone else who helped including 500ContyCruiser. I honestly don't know why he carries duct tape in his boot but I'm sure glad he did!

Due to a myriad of reasons the most important question of all went unasked . I am hoping the water has already flown under the bridge so here it is - When and where is the next drive Chief ?

Candid cameras and prose, courtesy robi/kiloalpha/rohan/fortified/deepfreak have succinctly captured all the fun and frolic of the drive.

Therefore, it's no surprise that the customary drive report stands so redundant.

First, deserve special mention that:

- they epitomized the spirit of the overnighters as originally envisaged
- viz. on an overnighter, we start, stick and end together, per plan, exigencies excepted.
Such unstinted support is gratifying. Thank you so much !

Second, on a less solemn note, it’s a pleasure to convey a heartfelt note of thanks, due in no small measure,
to all the participants who made this drive what it was meant to be.
