Guys!! The meet will happen before 30-31 Dec. The last weekend of 2006 seems to be a bit not possible.

What about making the meet (A.K.A team-BHP drive!!) on 23-24 Dec??

Me too. Sorry, I may not be there for the drive. But would love to hang around for some time. X'mas is usually a family season for me since I am based in Chennai.

Tentatively, I am leaving on the 17th evening. Promised to meet Zak on the 18th. Hope everything goes as planned. Zak, do you have an office in Cochin?

Ok Guyz!!!

After some phone calls and some brain storming sessions, Here are the final dates for the most anticipated Kerala Meet!!!

DECEMBER 23 & 24, 2006.

We'll meet up on 23rd Saturday, at Cochin. We take a drive to to Munnar or Vaalpaarai via Athirampally waterfalls.
We spend the night at Munnar or Vaalparai (I'm looking for different accomodation facilities and availability). We drive around the area next morning for some site seeing (more activities will be added according to the venue).
We'll drive back to Cochin on the 24th Sunday afternoon. Meet up with some more Team-BHPians at some hotel or by the waterfron. Chat up, have a nice dinner some where and then split up!!

As the dates are just confirmed now, I am still working on a good Itenary. The accomodation is still being looked into.

In Munnar, I've been in touch with TALL TREES Resort. The management has some business relations with me so that I am getting a very unbelievable offer from them. Still working on it. I will get it soon.

I wanted to know more about the accomodation possibilities at Vaalparai. Somebody, Please help me out here!

Though I would certainly love to ride shotgun in the Psych'd Dicor on ste(e)roids, scaring truck drivers off the road.

Excellent choice! They have a nice parking lot which doubles up as a campfire site - any badly kept car in the bunch will be set afire and the owner will have to do a dance of death around it.

PS: I'd like to see those 'unbelievable rates' - they're pretty steep, normally.
