Team-BHP K-K roadtrip?!

Folks,

How does a Kashmir-Kanyakumari Team-BHP roadtrip sound like?! Should we attempt to do it? I think so!

I did my Kashmir-Kanyakumari trip in Dec 2002 - 3,700 kms from Srinagar to Kanyakumari in 4 days of hard driving. The route that I followed is what will be the North-South GQ corridor:
Srinagar-Jammu-Jalandhar-Ambala-Delhi-Agra-Gwalior-Jhansi-Sagar-Laknadon-Nagpur-Adilabad-Hyderabad-Anantapur-Bangalore-Salem-Madurai-Tirunelveli-kanyakumari. Very surprisingly, on NH1A, NH1, NH2, NH3, NH26 and NH7.

Follow this link to read the detailed log book on the trip:

http://www.angelfire.com/trek/kumar_...anyakumari.htm

I drove a Daewoo Matiz from Bombay to Kashmir and then to Kanyakumari. The whole trip lasted over 8,000 kms, over 12 days, the longest non-stop legs being Bombay-Jalandhar (1,886 kms, 31 hours) and Sagar-Trivandrum (2,277 kms, 43 hours). I covered 15 states.

Anyone who wishes to do a similar trip may contact me for road conditions, route, etc.
