It was great to catch up with you Blore folks as well. Though a short drive for us, the meet and lunch made up for it. Met all of you for the first time and it was a pleasure similar to last year Kurnool meet where I met the other active Blore folks.

Nikhil - Thanks for making this happen by coordinating with Blore folks and keeping the meet alive. This enabled me to plan as soon as my work travel got postponed. Cheers! It was good to see the "Fastest 0-10,000 Kms vRS" in flesh finally.

bb8778 - Hats off to you on making this drive. Amazing to see you cover 4 states over a weekend! Guess the vRS makes you do it. Ain't it? ; ) Love the color of your vRS btw. It was good meeting your friends as well.

arun_josie - It was nice meeting you in person finally. Your Linea ownership is among the few of Fiat ownership threads (other belong to Bangalorian's as well. No prizes for guessing ; ) ) I read over and over before I took the plunge. Crazy to see that you got intercepted by an Interceptor at 7.30AM in the morning!! During my Blore drives I have seen these few times just before entering Kurnool but never saw one in Penukonda. Need to keep a watch next time. The fine amount of 435/- doesn't look too bad compared to the ones we get slapped here on ORR for speeding. Flat 1400/-.

paragsachania - Good meeting you and Nitin as well. Read so many of your posts and the help you have been to other members. You have been one among the many in my bucket list of TBHP members to meet. Now that is checked off

sleephead - Thanks for the group pics man! Saw parag's post about you killing it with the Grand i10. I had the same experience of watching Highway Hopper do it with his Xcent and was good fun.



This pic defines it all! When I shared this pic in our Hyderabad Whatsapp group, the first response I get is "Where else other than a TBHP meet, would you see 2 Hyundai's, 2 Skoda's, 2 Fiat's and 1 Maruti. Very rare to see Maruti not being the dominant in number. Throws all market analysts off"

Haha! We TBHPians think alike too as this was the same observation we all had while clicking the above pic and had a good laugh .

Thanks to the quick initiative by Nikhil in reviving this otherwise abandoned meet.

Great drive and good number of cars, though a short one for me as I had to be back in Bangalore before 10 AM.

Always fun gathering with BHPian's. Also, met few Bangalore BHPian's for the first time as well.

Kudos to BB8778 for making it all the way from Calicut, hope you had a good time and expecting to see you for future drives. The steel grey is a stunner!

Yes, the timing of the interceptor surprised us as well. Probably this is the time many cars pass this location considering that people start early from Bangalore to Hyderabad.

When Parag and Arun called me for this meet, I was in double mind since I just finished a 3 weeks rest period after the treatment for Neck & back pain. This was one of the reason why I don't want to stretch more and hence limited myself till breakfast point.

It was indeed a fantastic drive, especially with the mighty vRS brothers . These cars are really quick and a perfect upgrade for Laura vRS owners.

First of all my sincere apologies for the late reply. Was waiting to get the pics from my cousin Ameeth who along with my friend chinnu had joined me from BLR for the drive.

Thanks to all of your kind words above. It was truly my pleasure meeting you all. Even though I've been a tbhpian since quite long this was my first bhp meet!

And what a meet it was indeed!

For me it Was more like 2 Days, 4 states and 1700kms of pure exhilaration!

A big shout out to Nikhil for taking the initiative and making this meet a blockbuster success! We all thoroughly enjoyed it and am sure the guys who couldn't come or pulled out at the last moment would want be a part of the next trip for sure, seeing how well put together the whole trip was.

If it wasn't for Nikhil and his friend Rahul (who unfortunately couldn't make it due to some household chores) I wouldn't have been a part of this meet as I was in two minds.But as luck would have it, now I have a lot of new friends and a bunch of experts I can rely on!

As far as the roads and the whole drive,what awesome roads you guys are blessed with. If I was in ur part of the woods, I would take my car up and down every weekend whenever I can!

As far as the vRS is concerned, I'm pretty pleased with the overall performance of the monster underneath the hood. The ride is very confidence inspiring even at crazy speeds. It handles most things you throw at it. Got a good chance to get to know my car better!Also it gave a Decent return of close to 10kmpl throughout the whole 1700kms which includes peak blr traffic for close to 4 hrs and ghat sections of Wynad.

A special mention of thanks to Parag from whom I've to learn a lot from, Venkat the master, Arun who drove as steady as a ship, Zebo who's red vRS is a colour to die for!, Jason and his sexy white vrs, his friend vivek for the awesome pics, Mihir and the sexy Jetta, giri and Manas and lastly Sameer who like the others said it doesn't matter what you are driving,but how you do it!!
