This might be the first time in history of Team-BHP that a "twin-city motorcycle lunch meet" is being planned.

Well, as they say "You'll have to start somewhere & someday" and I think it's about time we did something like this as it's a great platform to bring like minded folks together.

There have been quite a few mega meets on the forum one of them that I organized long back in Goa where at-least 7 states participated and even GTO was part of that super-mega meet and some other notable ones on forum are mega Pune-Mumbai meets and ofcourse, Hyderabad & Bangalore ones too

Hyderabad & Bangalore are 580kms apart and technically we should look for an equi-distance which is 275kms but, unfortunately this highway has very limited eating and resting options unlike most other major highways. The only thing to be content is the brilliant 4-lane smooth tarmac end-to-end

Hyderabad to Kurnool which is about 220kms is usually lot of highway traffic which magically disappears from Kurnool to Bangalore which is almost like you own the highway and driving/riding alone. Essentially the Bangalore guys will get the meat of the drive while we struggle with slow moving cars/Luna/Splendors/Autos/Truckers to reach the venue in Kurnoolrl:

Anyways, since Kurnool is the biggest town between both these cities, it has lot of good options to halt for eating and resting. Hence, I'm proposing Kurnool for the "mega-twin-city-motorcycle-lunch meet" and as discussed in my ownership thread let us stick to either one of the 2 days (November 25th/November 26th) which works for me and majority of Hydeez folks

And why not make it a "Twin-Cities Bikes-Cum-Cars Midway-Lunch-Meet"?
Even then, it will be first-time.

Are cars allowed even though mine will be nowhere as fast as these bikes mentioned here!

Just a word of caution to car guys, please be considerate and stay separate from the bikers while on road. Have a great meet guys! Sorry have some commitments at office till beginning of Dec that would take away the weekends, so I would NOT be joining :)

Absolutely! We've had a lot of meets in Bombay which primarily had cars only, but there were a few bikers too. This time, it could most certainly be the other way around.

Heck, we've even had offroader meets where a few who didn't own 4x4s joined in & rode shotgun with us.

Same day return meets is what I would love to be part of; easy to decide and manage. Attended few quick meets before and I am sure many would love to tag along now that it looks like cars are welcome too (?).
