What : Mumbai-Pune drive meet
When : Jan 2018, 2nd or 3rd weekend
Where : Sheetal dhaba on old mumbai-pune highway

Winter has almost set in & ambient temperature is better suited to rev our vehicles. Let's have a small drive/ride for members from both cities and as per current trend, have a lunch meet instead of dinner meet.

Please vote for date convenient to you, either saturday 13th or 20th or sunday 14th or 21st in January 2018. Arrangements will be co-ordinated accordingly & designated 'VasuliAnna' will share details about food arrangements.

Wow ! Thank you Sukiwa for the initiative.
I still remember those funfilled megameets happened in 2011, 12.
Vasulianna, where are you ? Its your jurisdiction now.

In the past, megameets happened on Saturday evenings​. So, i request to continue any Saturday timeline for this megameet.
Which date ? Give three- four options of Jan Saturday dates so that it will be easier to vote for options.
As usual, i confirm for this megameet.

Thanks for taking this initiative! I would most certainly be attending. While Saturday would be preferable, even Sunday should not be difficult. A suggestion would be to schedule a lunch meetup since dinner meet would end too late and I plan to ride to venue.

Not sure how relevant this is but Sun Jan 21 is mumbai marathon. In case a lot of BHPians are also participants, that is probably not the ideal date.

On 14th Jan, festival of Makar sankranti is there. So, many may not attend the meet on that day.

Oops, wasn't aware of marathon. I avoided long weekends for better participation in meet, hence choice among current dates.

Choosing lunch meet is also one of the reason for this. If 14th gets decided, it's still doable if we wrap up by 3pm. It would be difficult for person like you who has to travel longer. Let's see which date gets finalized.
