The Delhi/NCR meet thread

It was great catching up. Thanks Rishi for coordinating and making this happen.

For me, the round trip came to approx. 285 kms but it was worth it. Waking up at 4.30 am to go on a real long drive at the end of a hectic week has no substitute. Return was 3 hours plus for me. For Khoj it was 4 hours to get back home. For the folks from Gaziabad I suspect it would have been 300 kms or more for the return trip.

You know - we again met up this morning at Barista on NH8.

This is fast becoming a favorite place for DBhpians to meet up.

Delhi/NCR BHPians Marathon Drive to Sambhar Salt Lake and Jaipur

When: 10th February.

Meeting point and time: 4:15 am at Barista.
Nh 8, Rangpuri, Avenue Bouganvillea, Rangpuri, New Delhi, Delhi 110037, India

Plan:

Leave Delhi at 4:30 am.
Breakfast stop at Hotel Highway King, Bagru.
Spend the day till sunset at Sambhar Salt Lake.
Leave Sambhar Salt Lake for Jaipur after sunset.
Dinner at Jaipur: TBD.
Drive back to Delhi after Dinner.

Note: Our convoy will be divided in 2 groups for the drive between Sambhar lake and Jaipur, 1 group will stay at Sambhar Salt Lake till sunset while the other group leaves a bit early for Jaipur.

Another awesome meet lasting more than 24 hrs! Total kms clocked were 815kms! Thank you guys for making this possible. We were 9 of us in 3 cars. Here is a couple of teaser pics, we will write a TL soon

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, a TL is needed for this meet. It was super awesome - as the pictures and, hopefully, video will show. For those who missed this one - there was good food too at the end of a lovely day. A teaser from me as well.

I am already looking forward to the next meet and drive to Narkanda (23-25 February). :thumbup:
